u hav gummed rings vac pipe to distrbutor close to throttle shaft ,overhaul bottom end recheck head for signs of oil passing through guides

i had a similar problem in my van, i later found that the radiator needed cleaning.it was partly blocked with gunk and couldnt cope with the flow at high speeds.....might be something to investigate.
