Why is the floorboard on passenger side wet? It's a 2003 gmc Yukon . We've had the AC tube blown and drained. Wat else could it be?

It is a good chance it is anti freeze from a leaking heater core. See if it smells like coolant. If so you can pull the coolant lines off the heater core in the engine bay and put them together to bypass it until it is fixed

I have a 2003 gmc yukon...it starts but shuts right back off

I won't make you feel any better, but time & mileagewon't always be the reason things act upSome people break down driving off the dealerslot, with a brand new vehicleI once worked at a ford plant & have seen them stopdead in the factory & being pushed off the dyno or strandedon the highway on my way to work, while being driven 4miles before going on a car carrierAt 6 to 8 or 9 years, has always seemed to be the pointwhere you get the longest run, of one or two issues a yearCheck for CodesCheck your dash lights, they should go off if it startsHow old is the battery? Just because one went 8 yearsthen next may go only 2 and a halfListen for the fuel pump when you turn the key on9 Years was always when my starters quitFuel pump is my guess, check pressure at engine

Catalyc converter odor

Worn out converter from too much fuel, causingit to overheat over time. While the converter may still be somewhat effective& you may not have any check lights on,I would checkfuel trim & also replace any front or upstream O2 Sensorsover 100,000 miles. Spark Plugs over 3 years oldWhat your trying to find out, is if an injector is leaking or an O2 Sensors has a slow switching count causing a richfuel mixture.Any vacuum leaks will cause a lean condition & the computerwill drive the fuel pulse or trim, rich to compensate

The traction control light comes on and then the engine loses power, just after I start it. What can I do about it.

These trucks are known to have problems with the front wheel speed sensors that control your 'traction control'. The traction control is actually applying your brakes. Thats why when you turn it off, You can move with no problems. The only way to really know this for sure is to take it to a repair shop and have them diagnose the problem. You can always just replace the front wheel bearing assemblies (they have the wheel speed sensors built in), but that can get pricey.
