My back tailgate will not

Sound like a electrical problem; first thing, check the fuse in the instrument panel fuse box labeled ECC (I think), fuse 10 amp, this powers the liftgate.

Also, here can find other details about fuse description and location: GMC-Yukon-Owners-Manual (page 540 and next).

If this not work, the liftgate relay is located behind the right side B pillar trim at the lower portion of the B pillar. The relay is wrapped with foam insulation tape. Check the wire and make sure that if you jump terminals 2 and 1 with a fused jumper wire and relay out this should power the unlock actuator.

If this doesn't work this is all the information you should need to figure it out and here is a trouble tree for diagnostics:

1.- Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?
Go to Step 2 / Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information

2.- Activate the door lock switches to the lock and unlock positions. Do both rear passenger doors lock and unlock?
Go to Step 3 / Power Door Locks Inoperative

3.- Did the liftgate lock actuator lock and unlock?
Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems / Go to Step 4

4.- Disconnect liftgate door lock actuator. With a test lamp connected to a good ground, probe the door lock actuator lock circuit at the door lock actuator harness connector. Activate a door lock switch to lock position. Does the test lamp illuminate?
Go to Step 5 / Go to Step 7

5.- With a test lamp connected to a good ground, probe the door lock actuator unlock circuit at the door lock actuator harness connector. Activate a door lock switch to unlock position. Does the test lamp illuminate?
Go to Step 6 / Go to Step 8

6.- Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the door lock actuator. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.
Did you find and correct the condition?
Go to Step 10 / Go to Step 9

7.- Repair the open the door lock actuator lock circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?
Go to Step 10

8.- Repair the open in the door lock actuator unlock circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?
Go to Step 10

9.- Replace the liftgate door lock actuator. Refer to Door Lock Actuator Replacement in Body Rear End. Did you complete the repair?
Go to Step 10

10.- Operate the system in order to verify the repair. Did you correct the condition? System OK
Go to Step 2.

Keep in mind that you need have early your repair manual; lok in the local library.

Hope helps.

How do I change the headlight bulb in my 2006 GMC

There will be two steel arms about 1/8" round facing eatch other that are snapped into plastic retainers. If you turn the arm 90Deg (twords the front of headlight)and pull up on them the head light assemblie will come out giving you access to the bulbs.May have to squeeze and turn or just turn .Then you can disconect the wire harness.Just be sure when installing the new bulb not to touch it.I use a paper towl to handle the new bulb.If you get any oils from you hands on it this will cause a hot spot on the bulb and burn it out prematurely.Well hope this helped.

Remove wiper blade

Do you mean the wiper blade or the wiper arm?

The wiper blade should have a small tab or lever on the underside of the hinge where it attaches to the arm. Use a small screwdriver or a pick (etc..) to gently pry the lever upwards to pull the locking tab out of its corresponding hole on the wiper arm. Once the tab is up, firmly grasp the wiper blade and pull towards the base of the wiper arm. Sometimes they stick a little, just be careful not to bend the wiper arm.
If you are looking to remove the wiper arm, remove the plastic cap at the base of the wiper arm to gain access to the nut below. Using either a 13mm (1/2 inch) or 15mm socket (depending on the model) remove the nut by turning counter-clockwise. Once the nut is off, place your hand in the middle portion of the wiper arm and firmly push downward, being careful not to bend the arm. What you are trying to do is rock the arm off of the wiper motor stud. Be sure to mark where the wiper blade rests on the windshield before removing it, so you can reassemble it in the same spot when you put it back together. Use a grease pencil or something else that you can clean off later.
Hope this helps!
