How to change headlight bulb on a 1998 gmc
There are 2 small black posts that stick up from the flat trim slightly
behind and above the headlights simply unscrew them while lifting the
rods up & out this lets the whole headlight come out, then you simply
un-clip the plug & put in the new bulb.
Thank you for using fixya and good luck

No it is the same system you may have issues in the rear with the orifice valve clogged or the expansion valve on some models. Maybe the evaporator in the rear as well has problems.

How do you replace the cruise control switch
You will need to pull steering wheel off which requires steering wheel puller and remove locking mechanism underneath wheel which also requires another special tool unless you are experienced at this you can sometimes remove them with a pic and pliers. Very difficult without tool! From that point you just take out the old switch and put it back the same way you took it apart.

How to replace a idler arm and pitman arm
You will need the proper tools to remove them which can be rented at auto parts stores. The pitman arm has to pulled off with an pitman arm puller also have to drop steering box I believe to change it. I know we did on my 1996 Tahoe the idler arm can be seperated with a front end fork also available at parts store. You just drive it between the idler arm and tie rod after removing castle nut and cotter pen.

My truck jerks while driving
Few owners comment about this, the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing
and they stated that the ABS sensor failed. After this diagnostic, they go to the dealer for any RECALL; try it with your delaer and VIN vehicle.

If no fuel is getting to the injectors replace the fuel pump relay. The engine oil sensor has a 3rd wire that sends the signal to prime the pump as you may know. When the oil pressure is reached to the normal range the computer shuts off that circuit to the oil sensor and turns on the relay to the fuel pump

I am looking for a firing diagram for a 350 chevy
Keep in mind that the spark plug orientation could vary and locations can be placed anywhere on the distributor as long as #1 cylinder is at top dead center and the distributor is aligned facing number 1 plug.

How to install cerpetine belt
Usually on the radiator support under the hood there is a diagram on how to "route" the belt. You need to release the tention and hold it while you get the belt off either pully and then when you put it back on. Some places like Parts America, Pep Boys, etc. will change it for you right there if you buy the belt from them. A garage shouldn't charge you much to change it either, it only takes about 10 minutes.

Transmission line...
these are commonly called "quick release fittings". pull back the retainer, insert the end of the line into the fitting, and push the retainer back into place.
The little clip that comes with it,can be installed into the retaining slot with a pair of snap ring pliers,or like i do,place one end in the slot, and push the other end with a screwdriver till it snaps into place.
The strange thing iI found with these things is that they seem loose, until you start your truck, and the pressure build up. After that they stay super tight.

I have a 1998 suburban when turning my sterring
If you going to try to diagnose it yourself you will want to get a friend to help spot you.
Typically your symptom is due to a worn out steering component. You will want to inspect wheel-bearings, ball-joints, tie-rod ends, idler arm, drag-link, and steering box.
If you need more specific info then let me know.
