no its a bit difficult, another problem could be venturi/restrictor in the entrance to the interior rad for the AC ,if the back one is working then so should the front one ,your man is right it could be a trampilla ,sorry forgot the word in english ,been living in spain too long but this is the vacumn operated valve ,could have a split vac pipe as well that operates the trampilla

Oil blew everywhere on left side of surbaban
make sure that the tube going from the valve cover to the air breather is connected on both sides. Also make sure the PCV valve is plugged in good make sure your oil fill cover is on tight.

1998 gmc suburban runs great
You said a would not start but you didn't say if it would crank. if it does not crank it sounds like it might be a bad battery. Dirty battery terminals, or if there's an alarm on the car that could be a problem. When it cools down if it starts to crank again that sounds like it might be the battery. But if it does crank pour some gas down the throttle body. If it starts and dies out you have a fuel problem. If it does not start you probably have a problem with your ignition system or power going to it. Good luck.

Wont go into drive
A problem exists in the neutral safety switch, or the brake switch that tells the sensor the brake is on and allows it to shift into drive or other gear..there is a bypass for this ,if the shifter is on the floor, it ison the right side of shifter, you will need to remove the console cover, it looks like a silver button with a spring under it..If shifter is on steering column,,the cover will have to be removed, and the same buttonwill be visible...Replace the Brake neutral shift switch either way....about$37.50 and 3 hours work..Good luck

Idling roughly, has a serging
I had the same problem. Come to find out someone put short reach sparl plugs in and my engine requires the long reach spark plugs. Check the number on one of your spark plugs. My 1997 7.4 called for AC Delco 41-932 which is long. The previous owner put in 41-803 which is short.

Cant take my truck out of park
Assuming the truck is not parked on a steep hill, the problem could be a fuse, the brake switch, or the park lock solenoid.

How to adjust idle on 1998 chev surburan
completely remove the air cleaner assembly off the top of the engine and find the throttle body linkage area..its where the gas pedal cable and cruise control hook in..behind this linkage is a small threaded stud with a nut on it to the backside of the throttle body..loosen the nut and turn the stud until the desired engine speed is reached..normally 650 rpm to not much over 850.. too high and the truck will pull at stoplights making you ride the brakes too much..
