The air powered centrol locking is a pain, not the least because of the high cost of a replacement circuit board. I can't quite remember how I overcame the problem. I think I applied either pressure or suction to the air pipe to unlock everything and then once everything was unlocked I was able to manually lock and unlock each door and in this case the boot lid. The fuel flap was left unlocked without problems.

Sure you can replace just the gear. But the labor to disassemble and rebuild will probably be more than a used gearbox

Please, buy a manual. The diagram is not one picture I could place here. There are more than 40 pages. And then the cautions, plug layouts and lots and lots of other stuff. The most basic diagram is in the user manual.

You bought plug cables that good,the problem could cause bad cables,now may be you need new catalytic converter.

You could start by checking the earth connections

Its got a filler level plug on the gearbox sump pan a computer is needed to measure gearbox oil temperature remove the plug with the oil at 30 centigrade you need 1 drip every 10 seconds.

You have to support the engine up there is a bolt at the bottom and a nut on the top. Lift the engine and it can then be removed.

Cylider head is 30nm then 60nm then 180' ( Can be done in 2 90' sets)

Usually a bad ring or seal inside your engine allowing oil to get into the combustion chamber where the tip of the spark plug is located. Do you notice any smoke coming from the exhaust pipe ?? Do you seem to be adding oil more often ?? If so, the black oily stuff is "engine oil".

Hi. Please check the aircon high pressure switch. If faulty this will cause the fan to stay at hi speed.

It is possible but you may find the cost to be more than replacing the transmission. The cost could be more because of the labor involved to disassemble the transmission to replace the gearing.
