Mazda 323 how I get the hub of on the front wheel

Let's make sure you got the correct wheel bearings.

1.57 in. bore;
2.91 in. outer diameter;
1.57 in. width;

These bearings require a 2 ton press and the correct size die to remove and install.

Some shop can do the job for $20 a pair.

Mazda Protege 2001. Started making

The barke problem may be related to new or resurfaced brake rotors, the rotors and pads need time to brake in, they should of told you that you shouldnt do any hard braking or riding the brake for about 200 miles. this allows the new pads to break into the new rotors, what happens is the car will not stop as quick as it did before until the brakes break in but if you try to push on pedal harder to stop as before it wont, then the pads and rotors glaze up and brake is not going to get better, try easy braking and no sudden or hard stops for a while. as far as the idle of the engine, this has nothing to do with the brakes it maybe something else. if the ac is on the engine will rev up and down as compressor turns on and off, this may be the problem which is normal.good day.

My daughter has a 2001

Hi,

The OD light flashes when there is a problem in transmission control. You need to get the car scanned for codes and then only we would be able to tell the exact reason for the same.You could tow the car to any of the nearest autozone centers. They have the tools to read the transmission codes. It could be simply a bad sensor or it could be as bad as an issue with overdrive band. A fluid/filter change will only prevent a problem and will never cure a problem.

It's only after the scanning, we could determine the extent of damage, however the most worst scenario - you will need to have the transmission rebuilt to cure this problem.However, would not be able to comment without having the codes.

I wish i could have a better solution.

Kindly accept the solution so that i could get the credit for my time.

Thanks and Regards

A week ago it started

your cd player and even your lights do not require nearly the amps your starter requires-get your battery and alternator tested, you probably at least need a new battery.

Engine chugs and loses power, light comes on, now broke alt belt

  1. Check the ignition switch condition and operation. The electrical contacts in the run position may be worn or damaged. Try restarting the engine with all electrical accessories in the off position. Sometimes turning the key on an off will help in emergency situations, however once the switch has shown signs of failure, it should be replaced as soon as possible.
  2. Check for loose, corroded, damaged or shorted wires for the ignition system and repair or replace.
  3. Check for manifold vacuum leaks or vacuum hose leakage and repair or replace parts as necessary.
  4. Measure the fuel pump delivery volume and pressure. Low fuel pump pressure can also be noticed as a lack of power when accelerating. Make sure the fuel pump lines are not restricted. The fuel pump output is not adjustable and requires fuel pump replacement to repair.
  5. Check the engine fuel and ignition management system. Inspect the sensor wiring and electrical connectors. A dirty, loose or damaged sensor or control module wire can simulate a failed component.
  6. Check the exhaust system for internal restrictions.

I let my 2001 Mazda protege sit for 1.5 months

It sounds like you either have a very loose engine drive belt or belts (There are 2 on your car ) or more probably some component that is supposed to be rotated by the drive belts has seized up from sitting for so long. There are four different components that are rotated. The alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and air condioning compressor. Disable the ignition system by disconnecting the ignition coil connector and then have a helper crank the engine while you look at the pulleys to see which one is not turning with the rest.

My 2001 Mazda prodge 5 overheated and won't

Hi, after overheating, the cylinder head may be cracked or the head gasket blown. There are a couple of things to do to see if this is the problem. First, remove the spark plugs and check them for the presence of coolant inside the cylinders. If any of the plugs are wet with coolant, you will need to remove the cylinder head for repair. If no plugs are wet, run a compression test. You can borrow or rent a compression tester. While all of the plugs are out, simply screw the tester into the spark plug holes one at a time, crank the engine, record the pressure, release the pressure in the gage, and go on to the next cylinder. If the compression is less than 140 psi in any cylinder, you have a blown head gasket or cracked head. Please let me know the results of your test/checks and we can go from there.

Can I use a 2001

bear in mind that 10 years is about all any window motor has in it. so you have a shot one in an 03 and you want to replace it with one that has two more years of use on it. you will be doing this again in a few months.

do it right the first time. get yourself a new regulator which has a new motor on it and install that. you can get one on eBay or at a parts store and pay a glass shop to install it.
