How do I turn off the brights on a 94 gmc safari?

The brights are on the turn signal arm, as is the windshild wipers. Hope you have already recieved this information.

I need to ajust my ignition switch so my van will

The switch is connected to the shift lever and is located at the bottom of the steering column between your feet. It has slots to adjust it. On some models the switch is on the steering column where it comes out under the hood. I hope this helps you.

Borrowed vehicle from family, drove it h

You have what they call a hydro boost system, the power steering pump give power steering assist, and give power brakes, so if your power steering hose looses fluid you get not power steering and no power brakes, So check the power steering hose for leaks if there is no leaks replace the powersteering pump

Ignition switch

make sure you have the switch adjusted correctly on your column, you may have to slide it down a tad bit futher for the rod on the column to make contact with another switch that actually sends the signal to your starter.

No fire in coil pack.

Was the timing chain damaged ?Did you have spark from the coil before you replaced the other parts ?Do you have battery voltage on the positive side of the coil with the key on and in crank mode ?Is the coil wire not sparking, or are you not getting spark at the plugs ?Is the distributor rotor turning when you crank the engine ?
