I have a 2006 gmc 2500 hd diesel when i first take

I am assuming you have a manual transmission. First I would check to see if it came with the dual flywheel. If it did then this is the problem. If it didn't then the pressure plate is weak or the clutch is worn out. If it is an automatic, there are several things that would cause this. Torque converter. solenoids, clutch bands, clutch .....

The heater / ac in

You have replaced the resistor and the blowwer is good and the fuses are good then i would say its in the switch or power to the switch, maybe at the ignition switch there a bad wire . sometimes the power wire going from ignition switch heats up and causes a bad connection, if you pull connector off the switch make sure the connector to ignition switch is not melted or burnt and also check blower control for the same, i would say that your blower is bad and drawing to much current if you have replaced a few resistors, i think maybe theres a fuse under the hood in the fuse /relay box that may be out or the connection at the switch or ignition is melted. hope this helps.

Change water pump 6.6 ltr duramax

not too bad of a job, pull the fan and dampner. ive heard of guys saying they can do it without pulling the dampner (i dont know how?) it doesnt take long to get it off. dont put a cheap w/p back in, if the shaft seal goes out you will have alot of coolant in the oil.
