I had/have the exact same problem with my 2004 Treg. I took it to the dealer in April and they told me it was the fuel pump and replace them. Everything was fine until the other day when it happened again. I took it to a local mechanic who told me it was the crankshaft sensor. If it happens again I'm selling the car for scrap!

whats the problem? loss of braking? Maybe you have leak from the black tube on the left side as you open the bonnet

on the oil cooler to the radiator remove the top pipe and using a small pump top up by pumping the oil into the pipe from the gearbox .

tell me what fault you have in system? that you have to erase that ,,,it dose not make sense to say , I erase the transmission ....you erase the DTC in transmission or selector level , so give me better explanation to help you

I would go to the data bus first. No easy fix for this. You need a scanner( not a code reader) to trace this down. You also need wiring schematics and pin outs for the plugs. And a volt/ohm meter. after that issue is fixed. If you still have the booster problem, replace the vacuum pump.

Insurance companies always try not to pay if you can't prove it was accident related. If they can't see it, they won't pay. You need to bring it to a licensed repair shop and have them diagnose the problem to see if it is related to impact. I have done auto body and automotive repair for over 35 years and to answer your question it can be related. Did the relay come loose? Was damage done to relay contacts? Did wiring get pinched in rear somewhere and cause short and fuse to blow out? Can be many things. Get it checked and prove them wrong.

Probably damaged the wiring , blew the fuse or popped both headlights. Most globes if they are on (hot) and get a bad knock, they will pop the globe element.

Hi im afraid this is a common issue on all touaregs, and you will find they will wear down tyres very quickly, this is because they run constant four wheel drive with the aid of a transfer box, there are software upgrades for certain drivabilt issue to do with the transfer box but these are only obtainable at a volkswagen main dealer

if everything is working then there are no fuses for the empty spots. sometimes the manufacture uses the same fuse panel for more than one model and the empty places are for when the panel is used in another model that requires the additional fuses.

Sounds like and electrical problem in the oil pressure sensor circuit. I wouldn't rebuild the engine just yet. Hook up a mechanical oil pressure gauge and drive the vehicle with the gauge on it so you know exactly what the oil pressure is.
