Your gear shift won't move because there is an interlock which prevents taking your car out of PARK unless your foot is on the brake. Since the release solenoid is electric, and you appear not to have any electricity, you will not be able to move the shift lever unless you use the Emergency Release (described in your Owner's Manual). As to your lack of power, perhaps a dead battery? (Good place to start checking!)
