The DIAPHRAGM in the Brake Servo Unit has failed. The only solution is the purchase of a replacement unit. Main Dealer [ouch] or after market.

You need somebody with a SLIM-JIM, which is what tow truck driver`s have. Are you a member of CAA? They or any other towing company will come to your car and unlock the door for you.
You can keep a spare key in a MAGNETIC BOX under your car in case ther`s a next time..

Whats the best oil
Not allowed to advertise, but use any good quality oil, the better ones cost somewhat more and try stick with an oil that has the backing of a major petroleum company. For grades you should be looking at a 15W-40 or a 20W-50 oil, depending on your ambient temperature as well.
I live in South Africa and have a Mazda midge 323
the only ones who could tell you the year and place of assembly from the chassis number is the parts department of the local mazda dealer ,but another good guide is the glass in the windows ,where it says toughened ,somewhere under a letter in the word toughened is a dot ,well this dot signifies the year of manufacturer of the glass ,but i cannot remember what year is what as to the relation of the dot .Also most engines have the same last 5 numbers as the chassis number so yours could have another engine from a scrap`yard which is why your asking what year is the car as its not lining up when you look in a manual ,if in any doubt check the chassis number stamped into teh chassis not the vin plate on the front of the vehicle
Carburetor air vacuum problems
Not much of a description to go on, but here is my own experience with older Japanese cars with carbs....
The vacuum lines after time break down and leak. Your best bet is replacing them one at a time, but there are ALLOT of them! Find the ones that look and feel the worst and replace them first. Sometimes just the ends have broken down and you can trim the ends off and reuse what is left if it is long enough.
Find out what size of vacuum line you need... you can just cut the end off one piece and take it to a parts store and they can tell you. Buy as many feet as you think you will need and cut to size as you go.
Do one line at a time because they can get very confusing, and if they get mixed up, you can end up troubleshooting for days to get them right again.
Hardstarting
Lets focus on the plugs for a moment. All you really need to do is remove 1 plug and check to see if it is fowled. This will show you what one looks like http://www.ehow.com/video_2326832_identify-bad-spark-plug.html and this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6A1keWQAeE is part of my training program at work for my new master techs to view and tested on before they are certified Also, if your car is shaking, your look at BAD TIMING which needs to be set by an auto shop so the vehicle stops shaking. The most cost efficient way to do this is to pay for the TIMING first see if that fixes the problem, then if not you change the spark plugs yourself as you never know what the auto shop will put inside your heads!!! Estimated fees if you want a shop to change your plugs in SC is about $200 for an 8 cylinder and fee for the timing is about $75
Eng sump won't come off all bolts removed hit with
It's been on there for 17 years, baked on-use the widest bladed screwdriver or even a metal bladed putty knife and gently TAP the tip of the blade into a few locations, being careful not to gouge the metal surface of the engine. It will come off, just take your time.
