Sounds like the ignition module or magnetic pick up. You need to check for ignition spark.

Maybe the alternator was bad , shorted out an blew a fuse or fusible link ! Did you check for B+ voltage on the big wire on the back ? Without B+ voltage it won't charge ! The smaller wire should also have B+ voltage , is the charge indicator lit on the dash ?

The two oil lines connected at the radiator normally are for transmission oil cooling either way there will be two lines one in one out.. If you are sure it's engine oil you can remove the line cap both connecting fittings.BE absolutely sure They are not to the transmission. Oil from the transmission is pink or smells bad when dirty.

Open up the hood and as you look at the light from above you will see a couple of screws/bolts holding the whole assembly in. Remove those and then you pull the lens out the front. From that point you can easily remove the lamp for replacement.

Well a 1995 model would be fuel injected, so you would have a throttle body assembly instead of a carb. The component next to the throttle cable would be the throttle position sensor. Is that the part ?

Find the Idle Air Control Valve located near the throttle body...remove, (2 screws) clean with injector spray, including the spring, also spray into the housing and wipe out as sensor is removed...should auto reset as you drive above 35 mph...you can replace the Idle Air Control Valve for about $35.

check for fuel flow as it appears the there is not enough fuel getting through for the extra power needed at full throttle setting. Have pressure test done on the fuel manifold if efi and check carbys are fully operating if not. Check for tank venting problems. Have fault codes read.

check TPS sensor [RPM] working with tranny.

Blue smoke is oil being burned in the cylinders. It could be valves not seating properly, valve stem seals bad, possibly a head gasket if it blew where an oil passage may let oil in cylinders, or badly worn piston rings.If you can afford it, have a shop do a leak-down test of each cylinder to pinpoint the problem. Then you may know if you need a new head gasket, or a valve problem fixed when head is off, or new valve stem seals replaced, or if rings are bad requiring engine overhaul.
