I need the code for the radio
The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

Service engine soon light came
There are a number of reasons why the ses light can come on. In my opinion, the best thing to do is to read the codes with a scan tool. Some parts stores will do this for free, especially if the vehicle is OBDII (made after 1995). Reading the codes will help to determine the best place to start looking for the problem. Some of the causes are : sensor reading out of range, fuel trim out of range, emission control problem, PCM failure.

Just replaced the battery in
Take the battery back to the auto parts store you purchased it from. Ask them to charge it back up to full and to do a load test on it to see if the new battery has a bad cell. If the battery checks out ok then your problem is with your alternator. You can verify this buy putting a volt meter on the positive and negative terminals you should be seeing around 13.5 volts right after the car starts up so you see the alternator is putting out. If your getting around 12 to 12.5 volts then the alternator is malfunctioning and probably needs replacement.
I hope this help you out if it does please give me a YES on the web page you received this response on. Thank you

When I crank my car it idles up to 2 and stays
High idles are usually caused by a vacuum leak due to a cracked vacuum line, intake hose or gasket. You should inspect every hose that is attached to the manifold and check the condition as well as the connections. Also, are there any trouble codes stored in the pcm (COMPUTER) memory or an engine light is on?

Transmission shifts into reverse nice and
u should check ur transmission fluid to see if it is dark (burnt) if so ur gonna b outa luck u most likely burnt it up. fluid will also have a strong burnt smell if it is black. trannys build up alot of heat wen trying to get unstuck in snow an ice. diminished air flow through radiator or trans cooler wen stuck also adds more heat to the unit, especially wen running it hard on ice. they get hot really fast

Have 03 mustang brake light
Hi, because there is no relay in the circuit, all the lamp power passes thru that switch. Recommend you check the stop light bulbs to make sure they are the low wattage bulbs specified for your car. The higher wattage bulbs will fit in, but they draw too much current. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Have a 03 mustang and brake light switch keeps
There is a switch under the dash for the Brakes. If this is the part they are replacing it can be due to physical damage caused by shoes hitting it. If you can check the repair bill find out if the switch is broken or burned out each time it was replaced.
If the switch is burning up, you need to trace the Brake wiring to the 3 fixtures. The high fixture and both taillights. Your problem would be bad light sockets or a bad wire to the brake. You are just operating about 3 lightbulbs, which at best is maybe 3 Amps. But if the power is grounding through a bad wire or bad socket, it will draw as much as it takes to melt the connection.
Don't know how important it is to you to know if your feet or someone else's feet are hitting the underdash switches. You could put ATV blue on the switch and it would rub off on the shoes hitting the switch. But it could make a mess on a carpet or start a War.
I hope you find my solution very helpful.

Car wont move out of park
There is an interlock that requires the brake pedal to be depressed in order to shift the car into gear. So...first question (I have to ask!): Did you make sure to press the brake while trying to shift out of park? If so, theres a good chance that the brake switch is bad.
