The carrier bearing should not move at all. It is mounted in rubber to give a little. But, it should not move freely. If this is the case then something has gone bad. The carrier bearing would cause this vibration as it spins if it is loose.

Hello, I see you are trying to charge the ac on you truck ,but this is not a job that just anyone can attempt and get it right. You must add factors in like is there the right amount of oil in system, is there any freon already in the system, or will there need to be a vaccum pulled on the system. If the system is completely out you must pull a vaccum for 30 minutes on the system, or either there will be moisture in the system and that can do alot off damage to an ac system. If you have never charged an ac system please let take it to someone who has. It will save you in the long run and if it is leaking they may find it as well.

I have a 1999 f-250 super duty, v-8, it was good all day the day before, yesterday I was going to drive it to town, would not start, power is good, lights come on, turn key no response.

I wish I could help you more than this, but the fuse you are looking for will be int he fuse box in the engine compartment and is a 10 amp fuse.

To install:

Fig. Tighten the cylinder head bolts using 3 steps in this sequence-4.6L and 5.4L engine


NOTE To correctly tighten the cylinder head bolts an angle torque wrench is needed.
WARNING Cylinder head bolts must be replaced with new ones. They are torque-to-yield designed and cannot be reused.

1. Turn the crankshaft to position the keyway at the 12 o-clock position.
2. Clean and inspect the cylinder head for damage or warpage. Install the cylinder head gasket over the dowel pins. Then, install the cylinder head onto the engine block. Loosely install NEW cylinder head bolts.
   NOTE Be sure to tighten the head bolts in 3 steps.
   
3. Tighten the cylinder head bolts in the correct sequence using 3 steps, as follows:
   1. Step 1-30 ft. lbs. (40 Nm).
   2. Step 2-tighten an additional 85-95 degrees.
   3. Step 3-tighten another 85-95 degrees.
   
   
4. Install or connect the following:
   
   Heater hose. Exhaust manifolds. Timing chains. Intake manifold. Cylinder head covers. Electrical connections and cables. Refrigerant. Engine oil. Coolant. Negative battery cable.
   
5. Start the engine and check for any fluid or vacuum leaks.

The relay is under a black plastic cover on the driver's side behind the battery. There are a couple other relays under there.-------I would start by jumping the AC relay to see if the clutch will run, you do this by removing the relay and putting a jumper wire between 30 and 87 terminals, if the clutch runs then check to see if there is power on the 85 terminal at the relay and a ground at terminal 86 if all are good replace the relay. The terminal numbers are located on the bottom of the relay, be sure that terminal 30 has power if the clutch does not run.

Faulty compressor clutch relay. Check to see if the relay is receiving voltage when the A/C is turned on. Also check the relay wiring and ground connections. If bypassing the relay with a jumper wire or routing battery voltage directly to the compressor clutch makes the A/C work, the relay is probably bad.

• The fuel pump relay is in a junction box under the hood. The junction box you are looking for is the one closest of the two to the fender and of the three relays in there the relay closest to the fender is the fuel pump relay.

• Also, here is a diagram of the fuel pump fuse. #40 - 20 Amp fuse.

• Also make sure to check to see if the fuel pump shut off switch.

There are two fuses, a 20amp marked F2-13 and a 10amp marked F2-23. They are in the central fuse box which I think is under the speedometer.
Your owners manual will have the details.
