Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. With intermittent issues have to test when problem is ongoing. Use a test lite or digital multimeter and check voltage at fuses in fuse box, some fuses hot all the time, some go hot with the key on. May have to check ignition switch? I'm not saying replace anything. I don't know what testing you have done?

No, the longer length will not cause your problem. The longer wires are simply for the plugs longest from the distributor cap (or coil pack) to the spark plug, and no particular length is critical, just as long as all wires will fit.
Do you mean it ran fine before you changed the wires and plugs? If so, you may have one or two not fully seated at one end or the other. Go back and make sure each wire is pushed in correctly, You should hear or feel the new wire snap over the new spark plug.

have the cooling system pressure tested
indicates a rusted out welsh plug in the head anti freeze and water is mixed in the ratio of 50:50 or 1:1 or 50%
so a gallon of water would require a gallon of anti freeze
That figure is the best to prevent corrosion and freezing of the coolant

Go back to basics---3 things needed to make an engine run---fire/spark---gas/fuel----air---remove anyone of these and the engine will not run---have you checked for spark when cold----you've tried fuel from what you've said---is there any type of damper that opens and closes when cold---possibly operating a switch/sensor when closed/cold in conjunction with something else---another idea is possible that when cold something (electrical connection attached to metal housing) is contracting loosing contact---corrosion issues with connections---this all has to do with spark that may change with temperature---find out what you don't have (spark-fuel-air) and go from there GL

Check the oil. The low oil sensor will disable the ignition if more than a quart low.

You might want to put a fuel pressure gauge on it. I'd change the filter too. Check the condition of all rubber vacuum lines. These are notorious for getting brittle.

I'd use a gage and check proper fuel pressure, key on engine off, 60--66 psi with spider fuel system.
Engine cranking did you visually check for spark at the spark plugs? Engine cranking is there a fuel injector pulse?https://s8.postimg.org/50arofh11/fuel_pump.jpg
Click on the link for fuel pump relay, you can check the fuse. At the fuel pump, gray wire is voltage, black is ground.

try adjusting the rear brakes up correctly
the spring that holds the shoes together pushes all the brake fluid back into the reservoir and each application has to move the shoes back into contact with the drum
that is enough to get the pedal close to the floor

With the engine running pull the fuel pump relay and see if the sound goes away. The engine will run until it dies of starvation. I'm wondering if your fuelpump it making excessive noise. Also, check fuel pressure before and after the fuel filter to see if there is any restriction in the fuel line.. hope this helps

If it starts and runs for a bit before failing, it could be a fuel system problem. Could be as simple as a clogged fuel filter or injectors.
