I replaced my alternator and don't know how to get

Most serpentine belts mount so the groved side of the belt wraps around the grouved pulleys and the smooth side wraps against the smooth pulleys (usually the tensioner). When you figure out the path of the belt, then release the tensioner tension and install the belt. then reapply the tensioner tension. Some tensioners are the alternator. Some tension with the Power Steering Pump. But most, nowadays, just have a spring loaded tensioner that can be held in the untensioning position with a socket wrench or open end wrench untill the belt is on then you just let the spring apply the tension to the belt and remove the wrench and you are done. If you have to tension the belt with the alternator or another component in the belt path, the tension usually needs to be such that light pressure (5-10#) on the belt will cause it to deflect no more than an inch over a 10" or so span between pulleys. If when started, it slips then tighten it a little more. Start it up and check for slipping, and repeat the process until it does not slip any more. It is important to make sure that the belt and pulleys do not have grease or oil on them causing the slipping. I can cause premature bearing wear if the belts are too tight.

Just changed spark plugs and gapped them at specs

Make sure you did not close any of the gaps on the plugs completely. Make sure you did not swap wires. Worst case scenario may have a bad plug. Hopefully you didn't drop anything in the cylinder hole when changing the plugs.

Brakes, not working...

If the brake master cylinder reservoir is full of brake fluid, and you haven't had to add any recently, then you probably don't have any air in the lines but may have a bad master cylinder that isn't capable of building up fluid pressure. If you've had to add brake fluid recently because the system was low or empty then you may have both air in the system and a leak that is allowing brake fluid to escape. Possible spots it can leak are at brake hoses, brake lines, wheel cylinders, and brake calipers, just to name a few. Either way, don't attempt to drive a vehicle without good working brakes as it is very dangerous to do so. I would have a good shop check this one out and give the entire system a thorough checking over to find out what has gone wrong. Good luck, hope this helps a bit.

I'm looking for the place to recharge my air

being a 1993, it probably uses r-12 refrigerant which is baned by the epa and you probably have to be license to purchase it. best to get it serviced by a qualified tech. it is possible that the system is 134a, in which case the port will be a quick disconnect fitting on the low pressure side. the fitting for the low pressure is between the accumulator/dryer and the condenser. also the low pressure fitting is smaller the the high side. in either case if you have no experience, it's best to consult a set of instructions

No power on acceleration starts hard only runs in

You need to cross out the two terminals in the ald connector for a code.It will be either the top left hand terminals,or the bottom right two terminals, according to witch way the ald connector is mounted. It is under the dash,on drivers side, about where your knees are. With key on,and these two terminals connected to one another, the check engine light will blink,it will blink one,,,,one, two,,,,,one,,,,one ,two, one,,,,,one, two,,three times, this is code 12,,the one,,,,then the one, two,is 12,after it blinks 12 three times,it will be giving you a code the very next set of numbers,so be ready and wright it down,it will blink the code three times, and then if there is another code,it will blink next, and so on.When all the codes are read out,it will go back to one,,,,,one, two,,code 12.These codes are avail;able on the internet, just type in code list for 93 grande prix. When you put the correct two terminals together, the cooling fan most likely will come on,this is normal. The key has to be turn to on.If you connect the wrong two terminals together, nothing will happen, just connect the other two terminals I mentioned, let me know if this was helpful.

Try wiggling the gearshift lever when you put it in park. I have a Chevette that does the same thing. If that doesn't work, I would check the actual ignition switch that is down on the steering column under the dash. It could either be worn or out of adjustment. Any questions I'll be glad to help.
