There is a little tongue inside of mechanism that has tendency to brake , in this case you loking for shifter assembly replacement.

check your brake light switch located above your brake pedal. If the switch is faulty, it won't allow your car out of park

You most likely have another fuse box either in the glove box or under the dasy. It sounds like a blown fuse.

Get a test light and pull the power plug off the back to see if there is power to it

check and make sure the brake light are working, the brake light circuit must be activated to release the safety park interlock system, this system uses a solenoid, if the brake lights do work then the solenoid may be bad or the pin is stuck in the shifter.

Try checking the brake light sending unit. Are your brake lights even working. Many newer vehincles will not shift out of park unless the brake pedal is depressed. However, a faulty sendind unit located on the pedal itself can keep you from moving anywhere. Just check to see if your brake lights are working to know if the sending unit is working.

You could try connecting a battery charger to the generator's output terminal since the battery is connected directly to it. Be extra careful not to short that connection to ground (chassis of the vehicle)! After the battery has been charged enough, use your remote or the button for unlocking the trunk. You may also look up for a large positive terminal in the engine compartment and connect the charger there. Good lick and post the results here.
