i have been searching the web for a wiring diagram for the fuel system on a 2001 malibu, and i havn"t had any luck. i also need to know how much psi the original fuel pump runs.

Can you please tell me how to Recharge the A/C on my 2001 Chevy Malibu? I bought this little white 12 oz.canister @ a auto parts store to refill my A/C. I'm supposed to screw the canister in somewhere under the hood; Do you know where?
The low pressure port is located on the passenger side next to the fire wall. It will have a blue cap.

2003 Chevy Malibu - 1st problem was that on long trips the car would not decelerate when wanted to slow down. If I stopped it would be revved up and once I got on the road again it would accelerate without me even touching the gas pedal. Drove through Houston, Tx like this and aged 10 years. This would only happen on longer trips > 2 hrs.
Now the car wakes up accelerated. When I turn it on first thing in the morning it is highly accelerated with the rpm gage at around 3 when it usually idles at a 1. If I attempt to drive it stays at about 30-25 mph without me even touching the gas pedal.
I have taken it to several mechanics without any success. They have done a tune up and fuel system flush. They suggested some valve might be sticking but they can't seem to diagnose it.
Any help to point the mechanics in the right direction would help.

Throttle position sensor. It's under recall for most Malibu models.

while sitting and idling the car jerks like it is missing it feels as if it might shut off.
Soujnds like your throttle positioning sensor is going bad. This is the sort of thing that happens before they go completely out.

my 2001 chevy malibu has a symbol on the dash board of a red square with an arrow pointing down towards water. what does that mean?
The indicator is for low coolant level. Fill the reservoir and check the radiator for proper levels. Check for leakage at the hoses and at the water pump.

I have no injector pulse. I have plenty of fuel pressure and both crank sensors and the cam sensor are good. If I spray carb spray through a vacuum hose, it runs fine, but I'm getting nothing through the injectors. What else besides the PCM would control the injectors other than the cam and crank sensors?
I"m not a fixya Expert. But few days ago I faced this problem and got some good sources of this problem. Hope it

when starting vehicle the lock symbol comes on and the engine light does also while steering locks up and will not shift into reverse.
WIll not shift into reverse, or will not shift out of drive? Sounds like security issue.
