Gear jerking
when it jerks does the check engine light come on? If so find a reputable transmission shop and it is a simple fix. Costed me $88

1993 z28 camaro was running good, then the SES
No spark could be 3 things. Power to the coil is not there. Coil is bad. Or the chip in the distributor could be bad. Could be another possibility but it's easy to check. Remove the cap and before you pull off all the spark plug wires. Use some tape and label which location they where and number the cap so you can replace them after. Once the cap is off have someone try the key and make sure the rotor I turning. If it does not you may have a broken pin on the distributor shaft. My guess it may be the chip under the rotor which is a couple wires and screws. There may be 1 other thing if your car has a low oil sensor. Check the oil and add if needed.

If that was the only repair then it was a coincidence. The only thing that is related to what you did is the engine coolant temp. sensor (ECT), but you need a scan tool to look at parameters and run some tests. Being that its a "93" I would do a compression test, look a fuel pressure, check the maintenance history, When was the last complete tune-up done, maybe do an exhaust back pressure test, IAC, and EGR. Most all mechanics pull the dome light fuse before working in the interior to avoid draining the battery.. On the 1994-95 Camaro the 20 Amp fuse courtesy light, also illuminates the orange security light in the dash cluster. If the security light is out, and your car won't start, it's because the VATS is in theft mode and you don't see it. Clean the key, if that don't work you may have an open short or broken wire in the orange jacket of the ignition (key) switch. Disconnect the harness connector and connect a matching resistor with the correct ohms of your key inline with the purple and white wires without cutting the connectors off, because you may latter need them. - Original Owner of 1995 Camaro.

you must check you have the correct level.and the correct fluid.as there is a lot of fluid in your torque converter.you must go into each gear.and with the engine on tick over. but you must keep checking the level.or you will burn the brake bands in the gearbox.

Most likely you have. Some cars have a buffer module that goes bad. I'll take that back . All cars have them. Some older ones have the buffer outside the engine control module. It can be replaced. The other ones are built into the ECM, and the ECM has to be replaced.

The good-old-boys in my neighborhood would take out all the spark plugs, put a good, slim, wood dowel in number one cylinder, and then turn the flywheel checking the dowel to see when the piston is on TDC. It takes 3 good-old-boys. One to turn the flywheel, one to check the dowel, and one to get the beer.

That is not even close to just bolting right up.If you want a camaro clip in your old truck you should use a clip from a 70 to 81 camaro.The subframes come out easy and are a fairly easy weld in as they are close to the same width as your truck frame.If you are not a skilled welder or fabricator you should just rebuild your truck front end,as this is NOT a job for a novice mechanic.A 93 camaro does not have a removable subframe like an older camaro they just have an engine cradle type frame that bolts up into the camaro not a frame that will work in your truck.

The speedometer adapter is probably siezed in the aluminum case. Try working it loose with a can of Wd40 or equivelant, tap gently on it with a hammer to work the lubricant into the speedometer bore.
