sounds liek your crankshaft postion sensor but to be sure i would replace spark plugs and wires and change the oil if you havent recenly and check your air filter if its to dirty the car will stall

if you have a crankshaft sensor going bad, that could be it. have a parts store retrieve a trouble code, from computer, your service engine soon light came on, yes ? egr valve can cause this, spark plug wires might cause this, check distributor cap/rotor, old spark plug wires can cross fire because of shorting out. see how that works

Here's a link to the blower motor resistor, these resistors control the blower motor speed, when they go out, they won't work or work on 1 or 2 speeds, autozone will take back if it doesn't solve problem.Easy to remove, they are located by blower motor, just remove electrical connector and 2 screws. Here's where the blower motor is.Here's the blower motor relay.

Buy the extension as an individual item at Sears or any parts store. Another handy piece for your ratchet is a universal joint for use when the bolt is a little offset from a straight extension reaching the bolt.
The water pump will be on the front of the engine and run by the timing belt. Pretty involved procedure, check a repair manual for how it's done before you decide if you can do it and have enough tools. Most times, you have to remove the front motor mount and place a small jack under the oil pan (supported by a block of wood to prevent damaging the oil pan) to keep the engine from lowering. The crankshaft pulley and its tight bolt will also have to be removed. Mechanics use an impact gun to loosen the bolt, but can also be done with a socket over the bolt and a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar.
Check the repair manual and if you want to do it, buy the manual, it will be of invaluable help.
