Abs light staying on
First thing that comes to mind is one or more of your "ABS" sensors is bad. They will be located in each of your wheels hub unit. Also check to see if the 'ABS' wires are not broken or un-pluged. Hope this helps.P.Ford
Brake System Flush and Power Steering System Flush
I doubt Nissan has a set recommendation for either one.Generally both systems are sealed and the fluid should last for the life of the car. You could flush each system every 50k if you think there is a chance they could become contaminated.
Windshield fluid squirter doesn't work - 99 Maxima
I would first test your washer pump ( squirter) by a 12 volt source such as battery take 2 wires one for negative and one for positive leads from your battery or other source of 12 volts to the leads on your pump if pump is bad it will not run, you can bypass the switch in the same manner only remove the switch connectors from switch and apply the power to your car connection. Ive changed most componan to keep it from overheating still the same
Please list the components you have changed. Check the following:1) Radiator pressure cap.2) Cooling system for leaks.3) Make sure radiator fan cuts in when up to temperature.4) Make sure that no bubbles are pushed out of radiator with cap off and engine running. If this happens, then perform a pressure test. You likely have a failed head gasket.5) Inspect inside of radiator for signs of corrosion. If heavy corrosion is present, then blockages within the radiator could have occurred.5) Check thermostat operation.6) Make sure that no modifications have blocked the radiator's air flow.7) Make sure that any under engine cowlings are still present. If these have been removed and not replaced, then airflow through the radiator can be affected on some models.
My 1999 nissan maxima 5 speed won't shift from 1st to second gear.
If it goes into other gears correctly, then the issue is likely a synchromesh problem with that particular gear, and the gearbox may have to be stripped. You may try changing the gear oil first though, as this can often fix the issue without having to spend too much money on unnecessary repairs.
