Is there a diagram anywhere
The catalytic converter is located appx. underneath the front passenger's seat, on the exhaust pipe. It's smaller than the muffler and squarish in shape. It bolted onto the exhaust pipe. There is only one exhaust pipe on that car and also only one catalytic converter.
My nissan altima 1993 is putting out alot of smoke
the first thing that i recommend doing is replacing the fuel filter that is a very common symptom of a clogged fuel filter. the second thing if the fuel filter replacement has no effect is replacing the fuel pump. but it is definitely a fuel issue. for any info. on replacing either part just comment back. good luck.

The starter relay switch where
I don't believe this has a starter relay. It has a starter solenoid and I believe it is built into the starter. Call advance auto or you local parts dealer and ask them if the solenoid is built into the starter. No relay though. If it is built in you have to purchase new starter.
My 1993 Nissan Altima water
You need to drain radiator, remove fan assembly, belt(s) and pulley then unbolt pump from the block. Make sure you have gasket sealer when you purchase waterpump for reassembly.
Where is the fuel filter located?
MOST fuel filters are either prior to the entrance to the fuel pump on the fuel line, OR under the vehicle attached to the framework, follow the fuel line from the top of the gas tank until you locate the filter receptacle...
I need to know where the fuel pump reset switch is
Quick question:
What happened to make you want to locate the reset switch...which is called the fuel inertia switch?
Second, I found this post on another forum:
"Hey everyone,
You will not believe what the problem was....got it out the shop today and come to find out, when I slammed on the brakes, the distibutor shifted ever so slightlyand messed up the timing causing all the problems. Replaced the distributor for 200 bucks it runs great again!!!"
So, again, not sure what has happened to have you search for your switch...and a few sites say that first generation fuel injected motors did not have a reset switch.
Star no work
If you mean the starter does not work, then we would need to know if there is anything at all, like a click, when you try?
The first things to check is if the battery terminals are clean and tight, the battery is charged up, the alternator belt is tight, and the engine is not seized.
Then it still could be the ignition switch, neutral safety switch, or the starter.
Automatic seat belt is not moving.
there is a switch in the trunk ,looking at the trunk on the left hand side remove the wall you will see a hole push the red button down the seat belts should work again
Car just died while driving it. It has sprark and
you might have just broke the timing belt you can take a spark plug out and see if the is compression in the engine by covering the hole with youre thumb and having someone turn the engine over if it has compression it will push youre thumb off the spark plug hole if it doesnt id bet its the timing belt
Emergeny brake light stays on.
actually barry before i pulled out the console i think i would take a long look at the pedal or lever which you push or pull to put the brake on. I'll bet you find a button switch attached to it somewhere, which completes a circuit and supplies 12 volts to a light in the console. However I could be wrong and a look through a manual could set you straight before you turn a wrench
