Does '89 Sentra disc brake replacement require
Some cars do and some don't, most cars the rotor is bolted, or clipped on and just comes off by itself, some other cars are one piece and they need to have the bearings pulled out, no big deal, you can go ahead and grease them while you are in there. If you are replacing the rotors, I think they suggest new bearings, I don't know why, mainly because you tear them up getting the races out of the rotors. Don't forget the seals. Hope this helps.
Hi! my nissan sentra 1989
Hello! That is a significant change...I'll need a little clarification...Is the Check Engine Light (CEL) flashing?...Tell me how the engine is running...Do you see any smoke (blue or black) out of the exhaust?... Is the engine hard starting, idle poorly, hesitate or stall?...
If the CEL is flashing I'll send the procedure to identify the trouble code/codes that the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) has stored...

What causes heat not to work in 1989 sentra? the
will try to help. is your radiator full and has been winterized? as far as,has it had antifreeze put into radiator? low coolant in radiator is#1 problem for no heat. you've replaced the thermostat, so that's new. good thing. no leaks?is the heater fan blowing? when you turn the heat up,do you hear something in the dash moving? or do you feel resistance in the slider[the red zone] when turning the heater on,on the dash? if not, the acuator,or heater control valve on the dash may be bad. if the heater fan;s not coming on, are you sure you checked all fuses?even the one's under the hood in the black box? hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com if you need further assistance, please repost your question and an expert will be happy to assist!
Carburator mix with water
if your saying you have watter in the gas either run it till there is almost no gas left and sea foam then refill with really good gas that should fix it.
I changed piston rings on
Need to check these things first
Has it got fuel?.......................Is there fuel in the carby bowl?
Has it gt a spark?...................Does the spark occur when the piston is near TDC?
Has it got air?........................Check compressions
Did you remove the timing chain / if so I suspect you have incorrect valve timing.....easily checked by turning engine by hand till the piston approaches TDC then the rotor arm must be opp that spark plug lead. As the piston comes up to TDC the air should be rushing out of the cylinder.
Does the cam shaft on a 1987 sentra 1.3 E13S
Here's what the tech data says for installation:
To install:
-
Slide the camshaft into the cylinder head carefully and then install a NEW oil seal.
-
Install the cylinder head and rear timing belt cover.
-
Set the camshaft so that the knockpin faces upward and then install the camshaft sprocket so its timing mark aligns with the one on the rear timing cover.
-
Install the timing belt.
-
Coat the rocker shaft and the interior of the rocker arm with engine oil. Install them so the punchmark on the shaft faces forward and the oil holes in the shaft face down. The cut-out in the center retainer on the shaft should face the exhaust manifold side of the engine.
-
Make sure the valve adjusting screws are loosened and then tighten the shaft bolts to 13-15 ft. lbs. (18-20 Nm) in several stages, from the center out. The first and last mounting bolts should have a new bolt stopper installed.
-
Adjust the valves and refill all fluid levels.
-
Start engine, check timing and road test.
I replaced the passenger door
Remove door panel and activate lock assy from inside door. When installing, remove post and leave hinge bolts a little loose. Close door and make sure all gaps are even. Install striker post where old one was
