You might ought to do a tune up on it. Replace the spark plugs and wires or at least check for fire. It could even be a fuel issue. Might check your fuel filter or replace it. And for that matter, the fuel pump might have been in the process of going out during all of your problems before. That might be something else to check as well. Also, check your air filter. It might not be getting enough air for it to start correctly. And if none of this is helpful, then you might check the carberator and see if it is kinda blackened or dirty inside it. If so, then take it off if you can and soak it in some B12 Chemtool solution for about 12hrs. Put it back on and try it out.

It can be the water temperature sensor. Sensors generally increase in resistance causing less current flow through the circuit which in turn causes less needle deflection on your temperature gauge. I have a 93 Mazda B2200 doing just that.

Hi there,
if you are driving your vehicle forward and not in reverse this means that your transmission reverse has failed, which can be caused by many things, one being the clutches, they may be burned, and can cause this problem to happen, so you will need to replace the entire transmission, please check a reputable mechanic for repairs.

  1. If your oil pump is not working you need to replace it,

All these symptoms are not connected. Alternators don't affect motor smoothness, or oil condition. Skip the temp, since it was normal.
Brown oil can merely need changing, some oil starts out sorta brown. If it is creamy, that means water is getting in, head gasket problems. That problem will give you a miss. If you are losing water from the radiator, and see water or vapor out the tail pipe, have the motor checked out by a mechanic. A compression test is worthwhile.

the rotor cannot be installed wrong. you probably didn't return the cables to their original positions. is your distributor cap marked with a #1 near one of the terminals? your firing order is 1342 so look and see which two cables are placed wrong. depending on which way your rotor spins, the order must be as stated. you will find that only two wires are mixed up because if it is completely wrong it would not start at all.
