How do you know if the ac compesser is good or not on 01 s500
refridgerant should NEVER be added to a system thats not running in on posisition ( says so right on can) , there is a multiude of failures that could come from doing this , belt failure's , hose failures, rec tank opening evaporator coil openings , pump failures
i suggest getting a professional to look at it to see what dammage was done
remember laws of physics 101: Liquids don't compress but gasses do and it takes very little liquid in a gas system to destroy the parts of system

Mercedes-Benz e230 air pocket in cooling system
The shop is responsible for this. Driving it won't get the air out. There is a tool required to fill the cooling system and bleed out the air. If your 'mechanic' is really what he claims to be he should know that.

Komprosser wont turn and there is no power in the car
you must put car onto a scanner and see what codes are there.
The car obviously has a problem and the ecu will not let the compressor work until they are fixed.
Do not just put a feed to the compressor! That would be a very expensive mistake.
