I got a 2002 silverado
You can have fuel but is it the right pressure? Normal running conditions it will operate around 65psi. It needs close to that just to start.
A weak spark can also keep it from starting as well.
Truck starts and dies instantly
This sounds like the symptom of a failing anti theft system. Read about it on this link

What would cause the truck
Hi,
You made a mistake in putting the connector wire in the starter solenoid on positive( + ) wire. Look and check the connection on the solenoid cap connector. The ( + ) cable from battery should be at the top screw and the small diameter wire should be at the bottom screw.
Hope that helps you start!
Thanks for asking FixYa!
Have a 2002 chevy duramax may have been driven
Hello, the noise you hear on deceleration could be from a couple things. A worn bearing, on the axles or input shaft of the differential and/or gearing...Gearing will make a slight noise no matter what... Even if the noise is from a slight play in gearing it
doesn't mean its a problem that needs attention right now.
If you have metal shavings in the oil have repairs made as soon as possible. If you don't you may very well have to replace the entire housing and all the guts, if the bearing seats wear away, and are damaged....I hope this helps.
Hi, My name is Mike and I am currentyl having
you sound like you know what you are doing so excuse me for thinking out loud-if it were me, I would really carefully check the cable and the pawl to see that it is adjusted properly-because it sounds like either that or possibly the harness is not connected or there is a wiring problem.
My 2002 silverado stalls out
Check the fuel cap for clogged breather holes. If clogged up it will **** the fuel tank vacuum and stalls the engine.
Ac only blows through the defroster
It's most likely a vacuum line, look
under your hood (close to the cowl panel) for a disconnected, cracked
or broken vacuum line.
In some rear cases, it could be the
vacuum switch (in dash). Or vacuum diaphragm (under dash).
Hope this helps you ???
The lights in the switches
Hi,
Seems your FUSE for interior lights poped!
Look for the fuse box under the dash, look at the bottom of the cover, there is a fuse, amperage, and for wut purpose.
Replace the blown fuse with new one, check if the fuse link is still okay, blown fuse link is disconnected if u see it physically!
I have a 2001 Chevy
Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. Check your timing belt/chain first. Check all of your fuses also, just in case. The camshaft is a possible cause to your issue. The signal may not be getting back to the computer. In order to find the issue, you will need to get a voltage meter to test the parts of the ignition system. Make sure the spark is a good spark, as well as the fuel pressure.
2002 silverado, installed an after
Check the wiring for the new radio, it sounds like the dimmer light wire needs to be connected. If that is not the issue, then the dimmer may need to be replaced, I would recommend that you unplug and replug it, they lose connectivity and sometimes that is all they need.
2002 SILVEROADO 5.3. I was drivig down the road,
The fuel filter wont keep the pump from working but it can restrict the flow of fuel. Just to see where your pump is at smack the tank hard one time. If the pump is malfunctioning it will most likely turn back on.
I have had the engine replaced recently and all
If the fitting is to big for your hose yes it would be the wrong port. You are looking for the low side port. Now don't quote me but I believe the fitting is either on the reciever/dryer or try looking directly on the compressor, I believe the 2003's fittings are located there. I hope this helps and good luck.
