The only way to get a code for the radio is from the dealer. Give them your license and registration to show the vehicle is yours. Then they will give you the code. This is for free, so dont let them charge you money.

this may be a broken track or if it doesnt move at all then it may be the motor or the switch is bad, try pushing the switch hard and hold while you wiggle the switch, i would check the fuses to make sure there are no bad fuses.

just put a socket and rachet on the bolt for the tensioner pulley and move the tensioner to the right to loosen the slack on the belt.

The turn rate sensor.Its called YAW sensor. There is a Yaw Sensor (turning rate sensor) and an accelaration sensor. The Yaw sensor is the larger of the both. Its usually the copper looking sensor not the black sensor.The turn rate sensor located on landing gear lever just below the loran cluster which is located just above the throttle adjuster. Remove the Glove key from the FOB. Inside the slot you can see the little plastic slider. Slider it in and the same time detach the top FOB up and pull it out of the FOB body. After that you will see the battery to replace. Have fun.

Radio code is specific for each and every car. It is specific like anti theft code.

You can get it by providing your VIN# and registration details in authorised dealership. Nobody else can provide you. If anybody can provide you that , then there is no meaning of security for your car..

Ensure key is completely OFF, and try to move Shift Lever to P (park). If able to only move to N (neutral), start car and then see if it can moved to P.

make sure that you have the holder for the top in the trunk in position correctly and that the 'nubs' on each side of the plastic have triggered the switch on the right side when in position

I would suggest directly to battery, but any charger will work. Just make sure it cycles before leaving it (on and off). A timer on the switch might be a good idea just in case.

Most likely it is in your best interest to take the vin number down and call another dealer in another town and ask if there have been any RECALLS on the cars vin The VIN number will be on your registration paper in the cab.


and also check for Service Bulletins as well.

This alone can save you thousands.

I suggest you use your best judgment and even if you drive 100 miles - find a more suitable service arena.

Please note that you may have very nice services paid for by Mercedes if you know how to ask about them. Ask about these things as if you know Mercedes will pay for them. Many of the CLK cars have free life time towing for instance no matter who owns the car and no matter the distance.

it should be in 2nd gear your gearbox is in limp mode need to have it looked at a.s.a.p ( the oil level may low)

it depends what audio system you have. if you have the sat nav system then the radio is in the boot and you will need a special 10 speaker harness. you best bet is to find your nearest Parrot accredited installer to do the job. Try Parrot .com

unless your mechanily inclined and know the ins and outs of the air bag system I highly recommend you take it to a shop. the clock spring can be messed up easily enough but the air bag can be set off by a static charge, causing personel injury and damage to the car not to mention the bag itself is expensive.

the ecu has recorded a fault you can try disconecting the battery for 15 mins to re set it
if that doesnt work you will need to get it plugged in and have the faults read and erased

You chould have a problem with the computer in the car not senting the right voltage to the silinoids the trans. to tell them to open and close between shifting
