94 BENZ E 320 HAD HEAD JOB DONE CAR WONT ACCELERATE /SPUTTERS AND AFTER A WHILE OF RUNNING 20 MIN IT CUTS OFF AND WONT START UNTIL IT IS COLD AGAIN

Hi,this could be your maf sensor, just so you can alliminate, when you start the car wait untill it starts spluttering then stop the car open the bonnet and look at ware the air intake is,in part of the pipe that leads from the air filter box you will see a plug with a wire line connected to it pull the plug of and see if the car starts,if it starts it is the maf sensor(replace),If it is that the car will drive not verry well but this is not advicerble. all the best, hope this helped

How do I replace a Serpentine Belt on a 1994 E420?

The tensioner will keep the belt tight without having to adjust. It's on a spring loaded type arm. The tensioner is on a arm, if you look at the center of the roller you will see either a 1/2" hole or it could be a allen type wrench hole. You will need to fit a ratchet into the hole or an allen wrench with a pull handle for better leverage. Once you have this inserted into the hole, you will either push or pull slightly to compress the spring which will give you room to fit the belt over the last pulley. Once this is done the tensioner will automatically tighten the belt once you release the pull handle. You are set and ready to go

This "tool" is inexpensive.

Go to a hardware store and purchase a five foot length.

Use a scrap of sand paper to deburr or round off the edges.

gently slide in and out working the wire through the entire length of drain.

since it is coppe it will flex through the bends and break up any clogs.

If I hit a more stubborn clog I rotate the wire gently to break it up.

Do not force it work slowly and the clog will release.
