Engine computer supplies voltage through oil pressure switch. No oil pressure no power to fuel pump. Turn key on you should get a 12volt shot to fuel pump to prime system. After that the oil pressure switch has to be good to continue to hive 12volts to pump

Rpm is from TPS sensor.

P0172 is a rich condition > I dough it would cause it to shut off after it warms up . If real rich , it would cause a no start at all . Fouled spark plugs , you can pull the spark plugs to see if they are black or wet with fuel . Starting and running till warm then shutting off is a classic sign of an electronic component starting to fail . Does it start right back up or do you need to wait till it cools down ? If it doesn't start right back up , pull the two plug wires off the same coil and have someone crank it over . Is there spark ? If not , probably ICM - ignition control module is bad . Plus the body control modules that control vehicle systems won't work either . These vehicles are made so as not to be hot wired . Breaking the lock cylinder you just cost yourself extra money . Your going to have to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop . The body control system consists of the following three modules: • The dash integration module (DIM), located behind the instrument panel, above the right dash sound insulator. • The instrument panel module (IPM), located behind the instrument panel, above the left dash sound insulator . • The rear integration module (RIM), located at the left hand rear of the passenger compartment, behind the seat back.

Is there B+ voltage at the switch ? Do you know how to do automotive electrical circuit testing ? That's the only way you will fix this kind of problem . If you are talking about the actual relay, it is under the hood or back seat in the fuse box. You can use the owner's manual or the lid of the fuse box to locate the exact relay. I vaguely remember something along the line of some manuals referring to the driver's window switch as the "relay switch" all the windows get their power from the driver's window switch so if the that driver switch is acting up then the one or all of the other windows won't work. Pontiac was pretty bad with interior and electrical, I know the window motors were notorious for going bad and the regulators breaking because the motor would just slam hard when it reached the bottom.

If the sun roof works, the problem isn't circuit breaker or relay. I'd get at the wiring harness on hinge side of driver door, probably has a protective covering, pull the covering back so you can see wire colors. Brown is voltage for power windows, black is ground. According to my database, the sun roof and power windows use the same circuit breaker and relay. Your owners manual should give you the location of circuit breaker and relay, I just looked at your owners manual, it just said sun roof for the relay, but, power windows work off same relay. If you don't have an owners manual, you can read one for free online, at www.my.gm.com You'll have to type in year--make model.

Is this a power trunk release?

Try using the door key to lock and un lock the drivers door. Pulling the fuse for the security system will guarantee the engine will never start.

What engine do you have? Supercharged?

At this point based on what you have going on here I think the transmission may be going out and also has an electrical issue you need a hand on professional to look into this problem.
