Where is the horn fuse 2004 olds alero?
The horn relay is in the fuse/relay box under the hood. There is a round thumb screw on top of the box. Remove it and the relays are listed. The horn is a large rectangle, wiggle it up and out. I think it is listed as # 21.
Should i use dex cool or 50/50 mix in alero
You should use what ever color is in there. But they do make , what they call a global mix (usually green) that can be mixed with all other colors of anti freeze. 50/50 mix gives you protection down to -20 degrees. If you live in a colder area, use straight antifreeze.

The security, antitheft or lock picture/icon is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterprets this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. This link explains it pretty well.

Install a jvc radio without a wiring harness adapter
You have a red wire for constant power. That goes to the battery. You have a yellow wire that goes to power that comes on when you turn on the car. Connect that wire to a fuse in your fuse box that comes on when u turn on the car. Usually a radio fuse. Connect your black wire to the solid black wire, that is the ground. Then the speaker wires. There will be 4 sets of wires. 2 wires to a set. Each set of wires will be the same color. One will be solid color, the other will have a stripe. The striped wire is you negative speaker wire. The solid is positive. Just hook them up to the speaker wires you have coming from the stereo and see which are front, rear, left and right.
Horn not working
Go to your horn and check the voltage there with a multimeter. You should get battery volts when the horn button is pressed. If you get voltage some cars have horn relays that can be changed easily.
