1986 oldsmobile cutlass turn signal not working
OMG. Someone with a car older than my '87 toyota. Possibly a bad switch, but first locate your turn flasher, maybe that is bad, easier to try than another switch. Turns should have a fuse, too. check that.
Where is the inline filter located
According to my Chilton manual RWD Oldsmobiles still had carburators in 1986. I didn't remember that. Anyway, the in-line filter will be in the carb. Disconnect the fuel line going into the front of the carb and then remove the large nut. The filter will come out with it. Pay attention to how the filter is placed in there so you get it back in right.
If, by chance you have the diesel engine then the filter is a square box thing mounted above the intake at the back of the engine. Simply remove the fuel lines and replace the filter. Hook the lines back up and check for leaks. Hope this helps.
I have 305 4 barrel
First inspect choke linkage to see if it is binding or sticking closed when engine is warm. You can spray with WD-40 to help it work more freely. If the carb has a round plastic housing over the choke spring check to see if it has three rivets holding it in place. If it has screws you can loosen the screws and turn the housing slightly to put less tension on the choke butterfly. If it has rivets, drill them out and replace with screws that fit the holes. In the summertime you can probably set a Q-jet carb all the way lean and still have enough fuel to start cold with a couple pumps on the throttle.
I need console door latch part number
You are not going to find new replacement parts for a car that old, so a part number is useless. What you do is scour eBay, Craigslist, local junkyards for an 86 Cutlass, then go buy the whole console. I think there were similar models and years in the other GM lines so there were most likely a lot of matching consoles out there. The downside is that few junkyards keep vehicles which are more than 20 years old, hard these days to even find cars in the 90s as scrap metal prices are high.
Good Luck
I need to know the

I need two diagrams for
Go look at another car just like yours. You can maybe find one on Craigslist, or on a lot. Just pretend like you are gonna buy it, take a pic under the hood, then go fix your own.
Or, a good auto-parts store or the GM dealership in your area may have a diagram.
I can't get any fluid
This will take quite a few times to get there but,it will get there.Start with the right rear bleed it 6-8 times then check fluid in master cylinder afterwards go to the left rear and do the same. Then do the right front then left front and make sure the fluid in the master cylinder never runs low or you'll have to start all over.Keep repeating until pedal is up and firm
Want to buy 86 Cutlass
most insurance companies will cover a vehicle if the owner calls and says that someone it 'taking a test drive tomorrow'-and companies that I have used don't charge anything, since I already have a policy covering cars on the road. The seller may be trying to hide something, I would just pass if I had doubts about it after the limited test drive he allowed. Just me.
Where to get my engine
Hello and welcome to FixYa!
You may want to visit Autozone to have your engine checked. If you know a reputable auto shop near you then try it. But I strongly suggest that you take it to Autozone.
