On the V8, tighten the bolts, in the sequence illustrated, to 100 ft. lbs. When all bolts have been tightened to this figure, begin the tightening sequence again, and torque all bolts to 130 ft. lbs.

On V6's, tighten all head bolts in sequence to the following torques:
* All except bolts 5, 6, 11, 12, 13 and 14 - 100 ft. lbs.(19-135.5 Nm)
* Bolts 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, and 14 - 41 ft. lbs. (19-55.5 Nm)
* All bolts except 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, and 14 - 142 ft. lbs. (19-192.5 Nm)
* Bolts 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, and 14 - 59 ft. lbs. (19-80 Nm)

You can check with your local parts store for the firing order, the number of each plug on the engine and the number on each terminal of the distributor. Also you can find this in a repair manual for your model.

take your vin # to the dealer and they can use it to tell you anything you want to know about your car.

327 IS A SMALL BLOCK YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM SAME SIZE BLOCK AS THE 305.

think so ,either the regulator or the brushes are worn out

try the library. i have found a lot of good manuals available for the pice of checking it out

put a nice small engine in ,so it uses less fuel ,like a diesel ,manual gearbox and you should get 60++++mpg

Bacteria is usually only a problem if you have water in the fuel.With the car sitting for many years it would be a good idea to drain out the old fuel because it's shelf life would have expired anyway. When you have it out of the car check the look of the fuel. If it appears cloudy and not clear there is water in it.Replace the fuel with new and replace the fuel filters.Biocide's should be available at the dealer or autoparts store and follow the instructions on the can. It would probably be a wiser idea to use the dealer here. Hope this helps.

there must be something restricting the water flow. i would check the houses to make sure there are no sharp turns that dont need to be there. next i would upgrade the water pump to make up for the extra hp.
flushing the block is always a good idea too when adding hp because you never know whats inthere.

Sounds like you need to get some shims for it. You can get them at the parts store where youbought the starter. They are little thin pieces of metal that goes between the starter and engine when you bolt the starter on.Most cars only need one.

The best place to find this is a local long time transmission shop.

On that year of car it should be in the carberator, you will have to remove the fuel line that screws into carb, and there is also a fitting behind that, that screws out of the carb too, it will be in that fitting, i don't believe there is one in the line before the fuel pump unless someone installed an aftermarket one.

Sounds like you may have a bad thermostat.

If its back firing you may have put the plugs back on in the wrong order, the firing order should be printed on your manifold xheck them and see if it does the trick.
