Where is the flasher fuse

the flasher is attached on the top of the fuse block under the steering column. you need to remove the panel under the steering wheel ( three small screws across the front of the panel, and one nut at the back, left corner). once these are removed, the panel will drop down and you should see the flasher . pretty easy to change.

You need to have the transaxle rebuilt or install a GM CertaNo other fixIf the car is clean I would install the Reman & keep the carGet a rebuilt Torque Converter also-- that is part of your driveabilitychatter ,as well as clutch slipping & as you said dirty valve body

Door will not open with the key

Does the key turn ? Can you unlock the door from the inside ?It could be a broken clip holding the rod onto the key cylinder or a problem with the latch.

How to get the pullie off of a 1996 Oldsmobile 88

There are 4-8 mm bolts holding the pulley on. Usually, you can hold the pulley by hand while breaking them loose. If they are too tight or you can't hold it tight enough, leave the serpentine belt on to help hold the pulley while you begin to loosen the bolts.
