Most people don't since there are two issues that make it difficult. First, the tires on the front are a different size than the ones on the rear. Thus you cannot do the standard front-to-rear rotation. Second, the tires have a directional tread pattern. This means that to rotate the tires from one side to the other they must be dismounted, turned, remounted and re-balanced. Rotation is good to prevent excessive edge wear than can occur, but the time and cost for rotation on this car can be something to make you think twice about.

Runs fine when it is warm so it has to be something with a cold starting engine having to do with air, fuel mixture, not being right for cold engine. Could also be an ECM issue.

Which sensor? The one for temp gauge or PCM?

did you verify fuel delivery?

No spark? Check ignition module...

i found this on a Corvette forum, so i could not test its validity but i hope it works for you:
-To reset the oil light, put the key in the ignition and turn to accessory setting (but do not start the car) Push the English/Metric button twice and then push and hold the "Range" button. The "Change Oil" light will flash for about 15-20 seconds and then go out. Release the button and turn key off. When you turn the key back on, the light should be out. If it is not, repeat the above steps.-

Since the ignition switch has to kill the power to the wipers. Replace the wiper switch. Carbon build up inside the switch is why it won't turn off. You could take the wiper switch apart and clean up the tabs with sandpaper. Beware of springs though..

on the lt1 it is above oil filter

Have you had a water pump replaced lately? If so water may have got to the distributor and causing the car to act that way. When it gets hot is shuts down. Sometimes it will take awhile to restart.They put the distributor right in behind the water pump and any water leaks from pump will 99% of the time fry the distributor, if not caught.

sounds like you need a new distributor.... if you had a new water pump put in lately and didnt change the distributor that would be your main problem. The water pump in located in front of distributor, if that leaks it will short out and fry the distributor. Always change distributor when water pump goes.

Bad distributor..... causes could be if you had water pump problems before and water leaked behind pump onto distributor it will fry..always replace distributor when water pump goes

check your fuel pressure should be 35 to 42 with key on engine off,and about 5 to 7 more with engine running and vacuum line off the regulator,also check your fuel regulator with vacuum off it should be dry if it is wet with gas it is bad

Electrical issues are the most difficult to fix. If you can't duplicate the problem in the shop, you're usually out of luck. It could be a weak relay for things like the fuel pump, a weak electrical connection somewhere, problems with the circuit board inside the engine computer, and so on. It would help if you could narrow down the area of interest like fuel or spark. Carry a can of starting fluid and a spark plug tester and be ready to check things when it quits running or won't start. And check the computer for trouble codes even if the check engine light doesn't come on.

Very hard to say what is wrong, do you have any kind of car history like if the waterpump was leaking or replaced? If so like my 1994 vette the pump is in the front of opti-spark 99.9 percent of the time the water will ruin the opti. I have replacement mine many times, mainly because of the waterpump. if you replace pump you Must change opti-spark, its right there in open after you take out pump.it will save you 4 hours labor time.
