1992 Stealth. Tail lights and instrument panel not

Tail lights and parking lights should be on the same fuse, are the parking lights working?Instrument lights are on there own fuse also.Doubtful, both would be blown at the same time.Check all the fuses,to see if they are blown, pull one,at a time and look at the fuse, and put it back.If you find no fuses bad, replace the headlight switch,it is what powers the instrument lights, and the tail lights.

Where is the oil pressure switch on 92 dodge

For DOHC engines, both sensors are located next to each other on the left side of the block (near the driver) and above the oil pan.

For SOHC engines, the Oil Pressure Gauge Unit is located next to the oil filter (on the right side of the block) and the Oil Pressure Switch is located on the left side of the block.

Starts off in 3rd gear and doesn't seem to change

You may not think so, but a proper scan by a competent mechanic, usually ends up being the right way and cheapest way to go when it comes to transmissions. In this case, dealer, and transmission shop for second opinion may be the way to go. In my experience, the longer you guess at it, the more money it costs in the end, usually a transmission rebuild or replacement because of waiting too long to fix the small problem initially.

92 Dodge stealth radiator coolong fan does not

Look for the obvious first. Blown Fuse, Burned Fan Relay.
To test, disconnect the Fan plug in, run 1 x Pos. and 1 x Neg. of 12 or 14 gauge wire from the Battery, directly to the Fan Motor, and it should energise.
The Sensor for the Fan is on the Engine. This is a 2 contact threaded switch, which is Normally open, and make circuit contact copletion when the cooling system heats up, energising the Fan Motor.
This Fan should also operate when the A/c is in operation also, independent of the Coolant side.
[eg] When setting off, from home on a Hot day, the A/c is on , long before the Engine heats up

Fuel pump not kicking in, wired straight thru and

There is a fuel pump relay on your car. They are usually found in the underhood relay center, though in some cases, they can be under the dash. There is also a fuse for the fuel pump, seperate from the relay.

What does the check engine light mean?

Whenever the "Check Engine" light comes on, there is always a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) stored in the ECM (Engine Control Module). You'll need an OBDII (On-Board-Diagnostics) scanner to retrieve any codes recorded/set in ECM. Once you do this and let us know what, if any codes are set, then we can go from there.

I have installed a new battery in the 1992 dodge

Trace the cables back to the alternator and solenoid. There's a great chance that's where the corrosion is. Assuming there's no other damage like the cables have been chewed on (a dead pest under the car is a good indication of this lol) clearing the corrosion on the other side of the cables should get you going again. Best of luck!

1992 dodge stealth valve adjustment

If the lifters [automotive repair industry term] or hydraulic lash adjusters [actual terminology], which are ment to maintain the correct distance between the valve train components is bleeding off oil within the adjuster, it must be replaced. The only thing that can be done is to replace them. I would suggest replaceing all 24 [dual overhead cam engine type], if you are in there doing that, you may as well replace the valve stem seals as well... and believe me, its alot of work, ive done it..

I want to remove the electric car starter from my 1992 Stealth ES

your lights flash from the etacs alarm going off. have you tried permigrounding it ? there is a write up somewhere out there where you gound out one of the connector so it always receives the disarm signal, prevents it from going off. If your window switch is connecting to your heater controls then you got a crossed wire somewhere. are you familier with troubleshooting procedure? the nessicary wireing diagrams are in the mistubishi electrical service manual.
