Could my engine cooling fan be somehow draining m battery when my car is not running

you'd be able to hear the fan with the engine off. Look fore a drain on the battery. Glove box lite, under hood light and trunk light are the likely places to check first.

What would cause the electronics on my car to stop working as I was driving

The first place to check is for blown fuses, replace if blown. If the fuse blows again, there is a dead short in the electrical system. Although this does sound like you have a disconnected, loose or badly corroded ground some where, you can look at a lot of the grounding wires in engine compartment for the conditions stated, although some vehicles have grounds in a lot of other areas as well so the engine compartment is a start and most likely.

front wheel bearing is pressed into hub and has retaining clip on rear and then cv axle shaft comes through center and has a nut and keeper pin. Rule of thumb is to replace both front wheel bearings at same time. raise front of vehicle place on jackstands for safety remove front wheels remove brake calipers remove front rotors and cv axles remove steering hub assy from lower ball joint, tie rod end and struts take hub to shop and have bearing pressed out have new bearings pressed in reassemble front wheels in reverse order of disassembly.

I have a code p0715, which is the input turbine speed sensor

The input/turbine speed sensor has nothing to do with the turbo. It is transmission related and is a circuit malfunction. I am having the same problem and it causes my car to downshift into 3rd gear (computer's fail safe gear) on the highway. The sensor is located above the transmission housing, and doesn't require you to take apart the tranny. I am having trouble finding the part number for this and where to buy it. Any help would be nice.

Why am i getting engine code p0421 on this 2002 mitsubishi lancer?

this code is lazy cat (or weak or dead)420's are very hard to diagnose here is the order. 1: NO EXHAUST leaks near any oxy sensor. zero, (cracks, or gaskets) any where near or upstream of any oxy sensor.!!! 2: Engine runs perfectly CEL out running and no stored or live DTCS (besides 421) and engine holds closed loop at hot idle and light flat cruise, steady right foot, if not , the CAT gets punished. 3: good front oxz sensors, a mUST. 4: AND 2nd last , new rear cat sensors (421s come from this sensor) 5: a NEW cat. that is the crash course, can do 100s pages. but no. just 1.

A/c compresser is working fan inside is working, freon is going past sight glass, no cold air?

Hello. It sounds like a possible leak. The good thing is the a/c compressor and fan are good. It could be a small or tiny leak towards the vent system. You should go to your mechanic and let him know what is going on with the a/c system. Your mechanic can add in a dye in the a/c system. The dye will leak out if there is a leak some where and the mechanic will be able to find a leak easier if there is one. Good Luck.

Where is crank sensor on 02 lancer

It`s located down by the crank gear behind the lower timing cover. Difficult to get to. If you have not done a timing belt, now would be good to do that as well!

Right caliper is sticking on mitsubishi lancer 2002

The caliper is probably in good order. But rust is taking hold.Jack up the car, remove the wheel, and take off the two bolts holding onto the caliper. You can hang the caliper on the strut spring. DO NOT LET IT HANG BY THE BRAKE HOSE. Now remove the small brake pad sliders from the caliper mount and using a file remove all the rust that is underneath. In older cars when rust forms under the pad sliders it jams up the calipers making the brakes over heat. If you take off two more bolts you can clean the rust off the caliper mount at your work bench. Assembly is in reverse order and do not neglect to clean the rust off the caliper mount on the other wheel also.
