2002 Mitsubishi Lancer - Page 5 Questions & Answers
Why is there no spark to the plugs on a 2002 miata
When a car cranks normally but does not produce a spark, you back up the way and check for:
A bad crankcase positioning sensor
A bad ignition module
A bad ignition coil
A problem inside the distributor cap (if your car has a distributor cap)
A faulty ignition switch.
I hope that helps.
2002 Mitsubishi Lancer leaking water under glove
Typically, when you have water leaking from underneath your glove box, that means that your heater core is leaking. Your heater core is basically a small radiator located inside your car, just behind your glove box, thjat a fan blows through for the purpose of warming the interior of your car and defrosting the inside of your windshield. This core is fed water via your engines water pump, from your engine where the water is heated, through the heater core and back through the radiator located under the hood of your car and through the engine once again, in a continual cycle. What happens after time, the heater core is of a much thinner construction than your radiator and will corrode through in a much lesser time. The other things which commonly occurs in the heater cores today, is that when your car overheats or blows a head gasket, it will allow the exhaust gas from your engine into your water system and create a tremendous amount of pressure. The heater core is not designed to deal with this extra pressure and typical blows out and leaks water onto the floor board of the passenger side of the vehicle. Heater cores are not all that expensive a part, but to replace it, can be quite difficult on some make and model cars. This information applies to most all make and model cars both previously and currently produced.
My car wont turn on and i change the oil and put a new starter in
I think you mean the engine won't start. If the starter is not turning the engine at all, some wires have not been reconnected. The starter has a heavy current cable from the battery, and a smaller (about 2-3mm) wire that connect the starter solenoid. If this is not connected, the starter will not work.
If the starter does turn, check all the wiring again, something is not connected.
Cylinder 2 misfire
One often overlooked item is the spark plug leads themselves! They don't last forever - Some start breaking down internally after only a couple of years, and although you still get a spark at the plug, it is not a very healthy spark.
If they haven't been changed, it is well worth giving it a go.
Hope this helps!

02 Lancer ES
well first! maybe it's time to remind you were created and given in life by a GOD, TRY TO BEGIN TO MAKE CONTACT WITH HIM, know that he is THE ONE who decides if you live another day, it was not yourself did you? Remind it! Make contact with him everyday anyhow. This way maybe he gets glad about and give us more money for our needings. The thing about the gas how many cylinders is your car? and almost for shure it is some transmission detail. That the LordGOD bless you my brother.

Car overheats and a/c starts blowing hot air when at a long stop light
It sounds like your cooling fan(s) are not working. Most vehicles run the cooling fan full time when the A/C is on so that air is always being drawn through the condenser. If the A/C is not on, then there is a coolant temperature sensor that should activate the fan(s) when the temperature reaches a specific temperature. It will cool down when the vehicle is in motion because the forward motion of the vehicle forces air through the condenser and radiator assemblies. You need to check the fans and the fan circuit for problems since they don't seem to be working in for either A/C or temp sensor.
