Overfilled oil in 1998 Mitsubishi Mirage

if this is engine oil just undo the engine drain plug you will obviously need a large flatish tray to catch it in ,if its the tranny same thing but let it all out and start again with fresh fluid check manual for quantity, the consequences can be quite damaging to the engine if driven and more so for the tranny so do before drivig again

I need to replace the water pump on a 1998

No you don't have to, but if it has to be removed to replace the pump, why not be safe then sorry and replace it. They are not expensive and if you break a belt, you could possible get internal engine damage if the motor has interference valves in the engine

No power to fuel pump on 98 mirage

well your fuel pump veifies 12volts at fuel so get something that will produce 12volts and put it on your fuel pump and see what it does if it doesnt work then you have a bad fuel pump if it does id say check your relays you may have gotten a bad set

1998 mitsubishi mirage wont start?

check if the fuel pump is working, if you have someone near the tank and someone else crank motor you should be able to hear a bzzzzzz rom the tank from the pump. if no noise is heard then hit or thump the tank, this can make a fuel pump start to work again, if it starts, then the pump is almost dead
