My roll bars (back seat head rests) are stuck in

just push the roll bar button in the up position like you raising the roll bar. hold it for about ten seconds or til you hear a click sound. basically your just going to reengage the mechanism again since the roll bar got deployed while driving. If thats not the case then you might have a separate problem but I would start there.

Hello we have a 2000 mercedes clk430 and when you

I would start by either replacing the abs switch or checking the present one to be sure it is ok. I am assuming there is disc brakes all four wheels. The pumping would indicate to me that the rotors are not running true or again the abs sys is trying to kick in. Hope this helps.

Transmission slip

Dirty or low transmission fluid/filter can cause this. You can try adding a bottle of Lucas Oil Transmission stabilizer, you do not have to drain or replace anything else...Please read the full instructions on the bottle...about $12.

Hi can't open boot due to roof not working and cannot close the roof at the back catch because u need to turn Allen key bolt to lock it manually which is in the boot can u help please

Hello, One thing is, you never mentioned was when the top stopped working in the first place (i.e. did the car battery die, the nit stopped working, out of the blue, etc.. etc..). That information could be very helpful in diagnosing the problem. You may already know this, but someone else reading this info may not, so hopefully it's useful to someone. The windows need to be working properly and be normalized for the top to function. If you have a specific window that is not working, fix that window first. Do this to "normalize" the windows: Press power window switch and roll the window up/down (depending upon where it is when you start) until the window is either completely closed/open and when it reaches the fully opened or closed position keep holding the button for an additional 2-4 seconds. Repeat procedure in both directions up/down for each window. After this point the auto up/down features should be working. If they won't go up at all after power loss, try this: If windows won't go up after loss of electrical power. Make certain trunk and all doors are closed. Stand outside by driver's window. Use the key remote to lock car. All windows should go up. If this doesn't get your top to move, I would hold/press the rollbar button up for 20 to 30 seconds and then down for 20 to 30 seconds. Once the rollbar is put back down, the top should start working again. If it still doesn't work, I would get some WD-40 or some equivalent penetrating oil and oil where the rear key goes in on the boot/trunk lid and try it again. Sometimes these get stuck and the WD-40 will get them moving again. Hope this helps and if it doesn't please post back what happens, so I can try to help. Thanks, TJ

Is there a way to manually open a trunk from inside the car if the trunk won't release automtically

Try using the key that's hidden within the key fob. There should be a place to insert it above the license plate in the trunk lid. Then there should be a handle there as well to open it manually.

P1519 Adjustable camshaft timing solenoid (logic chain). The K40 Relay can cause this code. Ran across several that had cold solder joints in them. Pop them open and re-solder the suspect joint(s) and you're good to go. Hope this helps!
