Dash light behind outside temp has gone out, how
pull out the instrument cluster by using the dash removal hooks. can be bought from mercedes dealer on any tool dealer like snapon or mac. all u do is to insert the hooks on either side of the instrument cluster usually on yhe lower sides and u will feel the hooks grab th instrument cluster. carefully pull the cluster out and disconnect the plug. you might have to have the steering wheel in the extended position to slide out the clucter. once you have the cluster out replace the bulb directly behind.

Rpms get real high without much movement. at the
mcdevito75 here, There is a solinoid on the brake with when you step on the brakes allows the tranny shifter to shift gears, D.N.R etc. Have your local shop check this out for you. If only this solinoid or an adjustment, approx. $150.00 about the rpms and not going any where, hope it"s not the tranny itself slipping, that"s $1000.00

My 2000 clk 320 wont start it cranks but wont
The only thing that will shut the fuel and the spark - is crank position sensor. And they do go bad on MB.
If you have scaner which can read data from the engine , you can monitor the rpm while you crank the engine , if you see 0 rpm while cranking , CP sensor caput.

I have a 2000 Mercedes
Fault location: Oxygen sensors (O2S) #2, bank 1 (bank placed on right side of the car), and bank 2 (bank placed on left side of the car) - range / performance.
Probable cause: Intake / exhaust leaks, fuel pressure, injectors, bad wiring, bad oxygen sensors plug connexions, bad oxygen sensors (O2S).
So, check first engine air intake system for leaks, fuel pressure - replace fuel filter if necessasy, injectors, exhaust pipes & catalytic converters for leaks, oxygen sensors wiring & plug connexions.
Could be also bad oxygen sensors. Verify if oxygen sensors replaced part number is the same as the original !!!

Plz which fuel can i use 95 octan or 98 octan for
Do you have 95 or 98 octane where you live? The airport? I'm sure it will burn just fine, most race cars use it, at $14 a gallon. I would run any gas in there as long as it didn't ping or knock. The book calls for 91 octane, and I just read an article that we are wasting our money on it, because if the lesser octane gas doesn't ping or knock, use it! Hope this helps.
