check brakes thouroughly and fix deficiencies..fluids pads sensors on each wheel...

Did you check the ground wire on the engine?

check the system where gas goes into motor sometime the air flow tube has come off where your air filter is located and could be air fiter

on the fuel supply rail to the injectors under the hood on the top of the engine.

Check the starter. The clicking is caused by the starter solenoid engaging, but the starter not turning over. This will more than likely need to be replaced.

the o2 sensor is kinda tricky to repalce without breaking the old one or breaking the pipe/manifold. I had a 95 and it was located on the manifold. the easiest way is to probably remove the manifold and change out the sensor. then replace the manifold gasket when putting back in.

Just unhook the battery terminal for a couple of minutes. Doesn't matter if its positive or negative terminal.

Solenoid is your problem, the solenoid is connected to the (EGR) exhaust gas resirculation, when the solenoid fail, the EGR don't work right, and your O2 sensor on the cat is reading to much exhaust gases in the cat, so your catalytic converter is failing, solution go to a junkyard and get one from other engine or similar the looks clean and replaced, run your car for more than 10 miles and your service soon engine light should go off, if that don't append your O2sensor on the cat is no good.

please be more specific and a bit more technical because i think you are a bit misguided here as the combustion chamber valves are hydraulic which means they are self adjusting .
