When I run my car
Installed in AC housing at passenger side footwell.
Glove box, footwell duct and center cosole trim removed
The car will not start - it just makes a clicking
The alternator may have failed and the battery has discharged. Test the battery and recharge if necessary. If you don't have the tools or knowledge to check this your self you will need to take the car to a qualified mechanic to diagnose the problem.

It will be best to approach the pump service specialist near to your place to avoid time loss in search of unknown spares.
The other option is to get a second hand pump assembly or a reconditioned pump of the same type to be fitted to your vehicle

The VIN number is the same as the chassis number of your car. The VIN number is
found on the left driver's door jam B pillar. It is also found under the
hood (bonnet) on the right side usually on the firewall. The engine
number is found on the right side of the engine , forward, close to the
timing chain (belt), down at the junction of the engine block and oil

1997 bmw 323i blower working but no air coming out
USUALLY A VACUUM LEAK, CAUSES THE AIR TO BLOW THRU THE DEFROSTER VENTS. IF THIS IS TRUE. CHECK THE VACUUM LINES UNDER THE HOOD (USUALLY THIN BLACK PLASTIC OR RUBBER) AND WHERE THEY CONNECT TO THE HVAC CONTROLLER IN THE DASH. LISTEN FOR THE LEAK WHILE THE ENGINE IS IDLING. IF NOT, COULD BE DAMPER DOOR MOTOR STUCK OR INOP. GOOD LUCK!
Over heating
Hi, first thing to check is the engine thermostat . could the radiator be block, a good back flush could help. good luck.
I have a 1997 bmw 318i. the central locking system
I will suggest to check the wire harness from truck. try to take off the rubber grommet close to trunk hinges. then inspect if there is dammage wire but if you can;t find any fault with it, i suggest to disconnect one by one the connector from each door and and obseve the fuse and if the fault still existing check the central locking module for possible water ingress resulting to blown your fuse
