Hi, I am the owner of a 2006 VW Jetta with 67,000 miles on it. Recently I've had problems with the car stalling while on the highway. (actually it declerrates) I also have stiffing of the breaks.

hard to tell by description but based on the input, sound like maybe a bad vacuum leak. Check all the vacuum hoses to be sure none are cracked, broken or fallen off.

2006 VW Jetta 2.5L transmission flares in 3rd and 5th only when hot..Possible causes?

Hi. valve body fault or more likely a worn band or clutch. Will need and overhaul. If DSG then could be the clutch pack or mechatronics.

I have a 2006 Jetta that flashes a snowflake and sounds a bell every time it gets below a certain temperature outside.

It is probably warning you that it is cold enough to have ice on the road if there is moisture.

P0441 trouble code

P0441 is "small leak detected" in the EVAP system. N80 valve that allows fuel vapors from the "canister" could be faulty. Make sure your gas cap is fully functioning. Take it off, and take it to a local parts store that can test it. Could be a leak almost anyplace in the system!
