Generally weird stuff like this is caused by the gears in the headlights being stripped. You can search for tutorials on opening the motors and flipping the gear. It only uses half the gear so if it's flipped you use the other side.

Since you know you reversed the wires, I'd look into the headlight control module. Probably zapped it.

I would say it is the oil pump failing or worn main bearings on the crankshaft.

Hi, Check if the pulleys are lined up correctly maybe before you had it someone changed a pully & it is not the correct one, hence out of line or one pulley is damaged, but by what you state. I am sure you would have noted something wrong on one of the pulleys if a weld was split or bent one side of a pulley. Please send me feedback to [email protected] Thanks Malcolm Campbell.

You can do it. Drop the transmission pan(messy). 3 or 4 bolts(maybe 5) and a plug.

sounds like you have a bad or loose ground connection check the grounds around the dash and steering column

You have to scan it. The transmission is shifted by the computer and if it detects a problem, it defaults to 2nd gear and will not shift.

Can't do anything more without codes.

Stuck or clogged EGR valve. Remove it and clean best you can. After that you can test with a scanner or replace it.

Most likely engine blow by or more precisely ring blow by. All engines have blow by, the PCV valve normally handles this but as the rings and bore ware the blow by increases.
Check that the PVC valve is operating correctly.

Most likely not. Those fumes/smoke are produced constantly by your engine. When it is running, the vapors are sucked into the air intake and burned with your gasoline. The PCV valve is designed to do this job but when the engine shuts off the valve stops drawing the smoke away and it just sort of hangs there until it settles.

PCV = "positive crankcase ventilation"

You don't say how many miles its done so is it due a good engine service? Its no good sticking it on a diagnostic unit if its already sick. Get the basics done first.

If it is intermittently, you may have a body control module problem. Often, when a wire comes loose, it loses contact and causes the radio and window to not work. I would start with that and look for a loose blue wire going to the BCM.
