check the fuel filter for clogging up. if a fuel filter gets bad it will lack power and it will stall at stops. when starting engine up, the debris is on bottom of filter. as you drive, if its bad it will continue to plug up.

you need to check and clean the connections to the taillights also check the globes

The check eng light and the click are separate issue. The click is caused by a burned contact pad in the starter solenoid, the starter solenoid is mounted to the top of the starter motor on the engine. As for the other problem replace the O2 sensor, the heater is defective that preheats it when the engine is first started.

I had the same problem with my 02 Protege 5. After new plugs, wires and a few hours of tinkering around, we found it to be a grounding problem with 1 of the coil packs. There are 2 coil packs on the motor. You can pick one up at Autozone for $30 and they very simple to change out! Good luck!

Most window handles are help on by a clip in the back. This one is also. I usually take two flat tip screw drivers and pop the clip off by pushing on each end of the clip(both ends are facing the same direction). Handle will pull right off. to re-install simply put the clip back on in the groves and push the handle back onto the shaft.

Disconnect the battery form the car. Remove the airbag fuse under the bonnet. Do the bumper replacement then re-install the fuse before putting the battery back in.

alternator is prob. bad. an easy way to check it is to start the car and while its running disconect the negative battery terminal if the car dies right away its not charging at all. if it stays running then turn on the headlights ot it dies then is a weak alternator. sounds like it was going bad when you bought the new battery and didnt need a new battery. you take it it any autozone and they test the alternator in the store to what its output is.

The illumination bulbs in your instrument cluster may have burned out. You have to access the back of the instrument cluster to change them.
