1995 GMC Sierra C1500 Questions & Answers
Alternator vibration
It may not be the alternator causing the vibration - it could be something else being driven by that belt. I would take off the belt and check the idler pulley first, then the rest to see if there is a misaligned pulley or one of them is very rough or loose when being manually turned.
Wiper & blower motor speeds, non operational
Found these two fuses for hvac. Use a test light, check voltage on fuse circuit, key on. Yes, the ignition switch is involved. Check feed to ignition switch, both show to be red wires, hot all the time. The feed from ignition switch to hvac shows to be orange wire.
I have a 1995 GMC sierra truck smoke when it stop at red light.
It probably smokes all the time , when moving you don't notice it > What color smoke ? White - coolant is getting in to the combustion camber , head gasket , intake manifold . Blue - oil is being burnt - rings , valve seals , Black - running rich , leaking fuel injectors . leaking fuel pressure regulator . Smokes from were , exhaust ? Engine bay etc....
What should I check
Have you had any issues with your oil level raising? You could have an injector sticking open slightly letting the residual fuel pressure that is in the line bleed fuel into the engine after shutting the engine off.
