There is a relay, but I doubt that is the problem. You need to troubleshoot when it is not starting. Is the fuel pump running? Are you getting sparks? The first link below shows the diagrams. Change the bulb. When you press the pedal the brake switch changes the circuit to the 21w brighter circuit for the brake light.

You might have a ground circuit some where affecting the cam sensor. Consider checking the wiring around the cam sensor. Check fuses.

Mine did this on a 2002 F150 I ended up having to replace the instrument cluster. I ordered a used one online then had the ford dealer program it. I would also try a spare key if you have one could be the chip inside your key too. Good luck

Overdrive light flashing is a warning to alert the driver there is a problem with the transmission . DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes are stored in the transmission control module . Have it check !

fluid has a wierd smell !!!! What color is it ? brown , black ? Burnt smell ? Transmission is burnt . Clutch packs fried .

Usually if no rpm signal, the vehicle won't start. Engine cranking, did you check for spark at the spark plugs? The fuel pressure you listed may have been the initial prime. It sounds like no injector pulse. The rpm signal comes from crank sensor. If your missing rpm signal, may thought is the crank sensor. Were there any applicable trouble codes?

Try removing the negative cable for 3 minutes , then reconnect ! Try you tube !

Turn the steering wheel a bit when trying to start. Other wise there is a solenoid in the steering column that needs to be checked.

no changing fuses doesnt change fact that theirs something drawing a lot of power Have your alternator/battery check for out put -if good than you will need to start checking components and wiring for a high draw or short

So what problems are you have do the lights come on at all or not and if so do they blink fast or what?? Give me some info and I will look it up for and try to help

You will have to remove the dash from the inside of the vehicle. It is on the passenger side. When you replace it, add a good ground wire from the new core to help prevent electrolytic corrosion.

I guess you've already checked the fuses, so you might want to check and see if they share a ground (negative) connection. You should also verify with a meter that they are actually getting power.

Junk yard would be a good start to replace the belt.

Lots of nice to know stuff on an otherwise all day heater core change. Pay attention to the notes on NEW o'ring sizes and what screws to keep together.
