if you deactivate and a pasenger is injured in any accident,you will be liable for serious damages.if its for a baby seat,then take a tip and put the baby in the back with an "isofix" seat (see isofix webpage) you have to remove the whole explosive device to deactivate.

I have a 2002 Mazda
CDCV, sounds like a fancy name for a purge valve. Located up by the engine. takes about 30 minutes to replace and costs about $90.00. Go figure.. Sounds to me they are a litlle high in thier price.

2005 Mazda 3 won't start;
the battery is low on power. the lights will still light for a bit longer but your engine needs more cranking amps to turn it over. The clicking sound is your starter without enough power. Have someone help you jump the car. or if you have a manual transmission, get the car moving 5mph+ somehow (push or hill) and pop the clutch out with the keys in the ignition in the "on" position. your car will start right up. if your car regularly needs jumped you probably have a bad battery. if your car looses power while driving you have a bad alternator.
