the light means there is a problem. you have to hook a scanner up to the vehicle to retrieve the trouble code(s)... then you can see what is the issue whether it's electrical or some hard part...
Cylingone bad make it not pass emmisions test
No other option but to either replace engine, or have it rebuilt. And it can only be rebuilt if the block is good, which you won't really know untill you tear it all apart and inspect the bad cylinder.
Diagram of which hose to disconnect to flush radiator
both top and bottom hoses of the radiator are disconnected to flush out the radiator. I would suggest that you have this done professionally by a radiator shop as doing it yourself is not really effective as the flow rate has to be checked to monitor flow improvement to check for blocked cores. Blocked cores will not flush clean.
My 2000 bravada oldsmobile wont start is it the sartaer
It depends upon what actually happens when you turn the key. If the engine turns over, but doesn't start, it is NOT the starter. If all you hear is a clicking sound, or the starter motor engages but doesn't have the power to turn it over, then it could be wither the starter or the battery. A quick and easy check when this happens is to turn on the interior light. If, when you turn the key and get the click or no activity, the interior light dims way down or goes completely out, it is probably the battery. If you turn the key and get nothing at all, things are more difficult. The interior lamp test should be performed. If the light goes out immediately, try the battery. If the light doesn't flicker or dim at all, then the problem could be the starter, the starter relay, the Park/Neutral Position (PNO) switch, the ignition switch, or the IGN E (Fuse 22) or IGN A (Fuse 34) fuse in the fuse block under the hood.
My 2000 bravada won't start
there could be a problem with the starter or the ignition system. if the motor does nothing when you turn the key but your headlights dim then you might try checking the starter. If the lights dont dim at all then an electrical check of your ignition system and relays would be a good place to start.
PO122 and PO405 engine codes
Code 122 is for a low signal coming from the TPS. Since you have replaced the sensor, the problem may be in the wiring harness. The signal would need to be checked.Code 405 is also a low signal coming from the EGR valve. Same thing, you need to check the signal with a scanner or volt meter. And when the computer is not getting an acceptable reading from the TPS it uses a known good signal to bypass the sensor which will cause the idle speed and shifting problems. The computer does not know when you open the throttle.
